I'll go look again. Previously I had clicked on Edit as well as File as well as Export at the bottom of the window.

Thanks for the reply.
Cyberlink needs to simplify it's process to save a photo file. Sheesh, what a pain it is to 'export' when all I want to do is quickly save the image I am currently working on.

Well, I am trying to edit an image by removing the foreground. I go to File, then Export, then fill out the dialog box, hit enter, and then try to go back to Global Adjustment and get another dialog box telling me that my work will be lost unless I save the file.

Hello?

I JUST SAVED THE FREAKING FILE!

So I save it, again.

Then I minimize the window and go looking for my edited photo. I see the file, I click on it, and the background is still there. I have done this half a dozen times.

#1, why isn't it working like it is supposed to?

#2, CL needs to give us a simple "File, Save As" option where we can quickly save what we just edited and pick a location to save it to ala PS.
Outstanding PIX!
Sure thing! It was an Olympus E-300 with the Olympus Zuiko 14-45 kit lens. Great camera and lenses. I sold it last year and bought an even fancier Canon T3i.

Here is the data for the first pic:

Right.

It worked this time.

Grumble..... harumph.....

Another one:
I used the HDR tools to enhance some photos. It brings out a lot of the highlights in a picture. The downside is it makes it somewhat edgy, if that is the right word. Images look best if kept at the default smaller size PhotoDirector creates. When I kept an image at its original size is when I noticed the edgy looks.

Here are some samples I made. I took these photos in the Grand Tetons National Park.
I made a post last night describing my use of the HDR tool and uploaded three photos and this is what I got:

This bulletin board software is so annoying. Of the many forums I participate in, this is the only forum that uses this particular, miserable software. I wish CL would switch....
Very cool, thanks for sharing!
Whoa! That's crazy, Neil. You made me just go check mine. It asked me to register, again. I did and then it opened normally.

Perhaps a re-install is what you must do. You have the s/n, correct?
You can get a full refund up to 30 days from purchase. Contact CL customer service.
I have had Canon flatbed scanners for awhile and I know they can scan 35mm negative film. I would bet you could use your Canon scanner to get those glass negatives digitized and flipped.
Yeah, pretty good! Fooled me!
Thanks PIX. Maybe a future patch will address this nuisance problem.
Every time I open PhotoDirector4, it defaults to the previous project and photos I was working on.

Hello! I am already finished with that!

So I have to highlight the photos, click delete, get another screen to verify, yada yada yada..................

I personally am annoyed by this. I would love to turn off this 'feature'.

I have looked at 'Preferences" but cannot find a solution.

Any ideas?

Another example. This time a working example for a model airplane club. This tool is brilliant.

Ha Ha, very entertaining video!

Thank you!

Here is my 2nd try. This one was a little more challenging than my 1st try.

For this photo I used both the Content Aware Removal and Smart Patch.

The results still blow me away!

In every other forum I participate in, I can post a thumbnail or larger picture. In this forum I am only aware of the 'attachment' option. How do you post the large images PIX?
