In every other forum I participate in, I can post a thumbnail or larger picture. In this forum I am only aware of the 'attachment' option. How do you post the large images PIX?
Well, I just used it for the first time, and one time only so far.
It is quite a simple project. But I challenge you to see any traces of the old objects (actually, the letters) in the modified photo. At least I cannot see any hint of them.
I just used the object removal tool in Photo Director and WOW! It is simply amazing how well it removes and then 'heals' the area where the object had been.
I am trying a second edit of the Olivia BMCC movie file and this time I started in PD11. I went to Fix/Enhance and clicked on ColorDirector and got the popup window asking me if I wanted to go to CD for the edit and when I click on Yes I get a quick flash across my screen and then I am right back in PD11 and after several attempts I now realize I cannot access CD from within PD!
Olivia Speranza, of OliviaTech, has a brand new Black Magic cinema camera. She has uploaded a flat video to her blog, which you can download yourself and then use your ColorDirector to color grade it and then upload your video to Youtube and send her the link on her blog.
I came back to report I have figured out what to do. I went through the book again and read about 'enable/disable' in the time line. I also learned through trial and error about the 'Split' function and that is exactly what I was looking to do!
Hey guys, I am trying something new. I used two cameras to record video at the same time from different angles.
I inserted both videos onto the timeline, Tracks 1 and 2.
I was trying to sync the sound (I had clapped my hands) and when I clicked on play I could hear both sound tracks, out of sync. But no matter which clip or Track I clicked on, it always showed the same video from only one of the tracks. I cannot get it to switch.
The sound track also sounded like an echo chamber, or 'reverb'. I tried to sync them by unlinking and moving the audio tracks but I never got very close. No matter whether I moved one track forward or backward the difference always seemed the same.
So I started over, watched expanded timelines down to the hundredth of a second to know when the 'clap' occurred and then trimmed each video separately.
Now I have the two trimmed video clips on tracks 1 and 2. The sound seems to be only coming from one track, so either I did an amazing job of syncing them, or PD11 is only playing one video AND one audio track.
So I would like to know how I can, when there are two video clips in the timeline, switch them back and forth in the Preview window?
And further:
I want to switch views back and forth. In the past I would have made several small edited clips and then eventually placed them one by one on a timeline. But there must be a better way, right? Why else would there be up to 100 tracks available?
I have looked in the PD11 book and can't find any answers.
Just produce your video and save it as a file in a folder of your choice. Then, log into your Youtube account and click on the button that says "UPLOAD" and send it that way.
What I do, is import a sound file (wav, mp3, etc) into the editor. Then I drag it down onto the timeline. You should notice the dual clef note symbols on the side, and you can place it there.
