Any idea why I'm unable to bitstream HD multichannel audio (Dolby True HD, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD MA etc) in Windows 10? I can bitstream standard Dolby Digital and DTS ok. I have a geforce gtx 750 ti graphics card connected to an Onkyo TX-NR686 av receiver. I can bitstream HD audio from Kodi ok so it isn't a hardware restriction. And Windows audio properties show the card as being capable of streaming all audio formats.
The top and bottom bars on PowerDVD 15 have suddenly stopped going off. Usually they go off after just a few seconds. I went into audio settings to set an audio delay to resolve lipsync issues and when I returned to the main screen the top and bottom bars just stayed on. I have tried moving the mouse pointer off to the side of the screen, double-clicking the screen, clicking the "cross" box at the bottom right corner, selecting "fullscreen" from the menu and exiting and resetting the software. But the problem just persists. Can anyone suggest something else I might try?
I'm trying to integrate my pc into my home cinema setup. I have the pc connected to my av receiver by spdif and I want to use PowerDVD 6 as the decoder as this has been my favourite pc player for several years. But when I try to play 5.1 encoded avi files, I do not get surround sound. When I go into options, audio, spdif is not available as an option. It is when I play dvd's however, and it is decoding DD and dts sound very well.

Is there an add-on or some other solution that will do what I need with PowerDVD?
