Can anyone recommend a software for audio (mainly voice) amplification and noise reduction? I've tried the integrated noise filter but unfortunately it simply doesn't do the job since the voice becomes too distorted. Thanks
That's all very helpful indeed. Now how can I create something like a list of credits scrolling up over a black background? I figured how to make the titles and the scrolling effect but where do I get the black background and how do I integrate it into the video track?
Can I use a screen capturer (jpg) and import the image to PD as a picture as well, or shoud a video capturer achive better results?

Also when trying to create 'slides' with PD using the title designer, how do I save some empty space on the top row (the Master Video Track) of the timeline to be able to insert that slide so it does not overlap with the video being edited?
Cheers
Thanks for that!
Last question for the day... Is there a way to embed a ppt slide into a video just like you do with a picture?
Thanks
I have a video in mpeg format which I have edited in the past. Now I would like to do some further editing on it. The locations of the original raw avi files that I used for this video have changed so I cannot upload the project and continue to edit from the point where I produced the last version of that video. If I use now the mpeg video file as a source for editing, will the result movie be in a reduced quality compared to re-editing the original avi files which would take me much longer?
Thanks
Thank you Jeff. It seems to work well!
Hello. I am editing a video with PD6 and would like to replace the existing voice track with a new voice capture. I was able to split the existing sound track from the clip and then deleted it but after saving the project and re-opening it, the original voice track re-appears and this time I can't even split it.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Benny
Thanks Tony!
I have a project and I want to produce a video twice: once in full length and once with only half the scenes. How do I split the project and produce only half without loosing the remaining, already edited, scenes?
Thanks
Thank you all. The 'split' idea worked just fine for me.
Now here is another one:
I have a project and I want to produce a video twice: once in full length and one with onely half the scenes. How do I split the project and produce only half without loosing the remaining already editted scenes?
Thanks
Tried to save a copy of the project and then open that copy and keep working but still, when I go to 'trim' function I get the whole raw video whilst I only want the version I've already modified to further trim.
Hi,
I have trimmed down a project and now want to further trim it. The only way I can do it is to produce the first trimmed version as a final video which I wouldn't like to do. Any advise?
I have imported an avi file to the master video track and when trying to edit it or even just view it the video jitters with mini-pauses every 2 seconds. Any ideas?
