Hi all,
I've got a new laptop with a fresh install of ..
ColorDirector 4.0.4627.0
CDR150925-02

But I can't close the program ?
  1. Open program
  2. Close Program
    All good

  1. Open Program
  2. Add File to story board
  3. Save
All Good
4. Close
It just hangs forever .. with a "Colordirector is not responding" box if you click anything ?

none of the prompt boxes previously checked
are remembered next time you open (if it's relevant)
(already re-installed and updated intel drivers)
Any help is appriciated smile

Thanks
Martin

Thanks Optodata,
... duct tape at the ready
Quote This is a fascinating bug ...

Thanks Optodata

It's already a bit of a 2 part work around to try and achieve pseudo-rotational tracking,
If I have to split both elements into a further 4 each ... I'm might just look for something that does two point tracking.

If it was a one off I'd power through ... but it might be a regular gig.

I will add the link in the support section when it's my turn to speak again

Thanks Again

It does seem that there is a limit to motion tracking to be less than 2 minutes.I have been able to add 3 additional motion trackers at about 1.5 minute each. Tried titles and moving videos and tracking is fine if the motion tracker interval is a minute long and the video used is several minutes long.

For a seven minute tracking it would be safe to use say 4 to 7 motion trackers. See the attached. Motion tracking works well with titles and videos. There are users that have a faster cpu, more memory, and a better graphics card that may want to try the motion tracking.and post the results here. Let us hear from them.

You may also want to contact Cyberlink support and report this issue to them and let us know what they say about this since I cannot achieve a 7 minute motion tracking successfully without using multiple motion trackers.

Tomasc you're a legend, thankyou .. I thought I was going mad

I currently have an ongoing ticket open with support.

I've tried 3 different laptops and currently using an I5 with 8 gb Ram
It breezes through HD previews and renders.

I can just about get a 3 minute track to keyframe a picture and add it to the timeline
but the lag it creates just renders the program impractical.
If anyone can successfully track this included 7minute video (3.5mb ) and attach picture,
at least I would know it's achievable.

If I do the track first, it wont let me add a picture
if I add the picture first .. then track, it just puts the picture on the timeline with no keyframes.

Thanks
Mc
Hi,
Has anyone done a motion track of 5 minutes or more and successfully attached a picture or video ?

any responses are appreciated
Thanks
Mc
As above,
definately sounds more pip than mask.
Hi all,
I've been using PD15 for about 5 years on my laptop (i3-4030u 1.90 ghz 4GB) with no issues,
but I've just started using the motion tracking,
it's ok up to about 30 seconds but if I try to do a 2 minute video, it does the tracking fine and drops the
image on a new line with the billion keyframes added ... but then becomes so hangy it's not useable ?

Is 2 minutes too long ?
is it Ram , CPU .... ?
is there anything I can optimise ?

Any suggestions are appriciated

Thank
Van
