I kind of had that attitude yesyerday. But today I have still have not heard anything from support on the matter, and I did pay for the advetized product. But did not recived the full or corect product as advertized. I have always installed that Font pack with all my other versions of Power Director, and would like to with this version but cant.
The download links that they sent me work, but the Font pack download link sends me the wrong Language version of the Font Pack. When I click on it, it pops open and it is all in an Asian type language. You cannot even read the no or yes buttons on the app to install it or not install it once it opens. Its all in a Asian type language.
I paid for a advertized product and think I should get the said product. I am just not into the 365 thing for many reasons. I just like to buy the perpetual version and I am disapointed in this transaction with CyberLink. I have really enjoyed the product in the past, but this has put a damper on things. I am Still waiting on a reply from tech

I just asked support about this and I guess I will have to wait for a responce from them.
But I did think maybe someone hear might know. Anyhow I just downloaded the Power Director 21 upgrade and it come in 11 packs. The 11th pack is the Font Pack by Morisawa and mine was in an Asian language I could not read any of it, so I did not install it. I started the program and it started ok, but I have not used it yet as in editing.
My question is do I really even need the Font Pack?

The last version of PD I have is 2019. I would like to get the 2021 version but was wondering about the install.
I just bought a new computer and it is clean. I see that I can get a good discount on the 2021 upgrade version that
I want, but was wondering about the install or upgrade path. What I want to know is this.
If I buy the PD 2021 version as a upgrade from cyberlink's store. When I go to install it, do I just need my good PD 2019 install serial Lic code? Or do I have to actually reinstall the PD 2019 Ultimate and re activate it before I can install or activate the new PD 2021 upgrade version?
I just would like to keep my computer as clean as I can. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info, I see that I was abit confused.
I played with the program a little and turned the hardware decoding off, and I do belive
now that it actually captures better then version 2. Its close but I do belive the colors and
and detail are just a slight bit better. I like it. Thanks.

Okay what exactly is different between Screen Recorder 4 le and the you buy regular Screen recorder 4.
I had screen recorder 2 on my system and uninstalled it and now regret it. With SR 2 I could screen capture at 1920 or even 4K.
But Screen Recorder 4 LE that comes with Power Director 19 only lets me record to 1080 max resolution.
Does the store bought one have a higher resolution? What all is different betwen the two?

Any reason the "Batch Produce..." feature does not work for that?
Been out for nearly 2yrs, 3rd party product but mentioned in the forums previously, do a search. Editing done in PD, final conversion (Nvidia 10 series or better a massive time bonus) and UHD burn done in 3rd party.
Jeff
I know the product. I will not go into detail hear on why I will not buy that product.
I would just like to see a well known American company make a stand alone program or to include
in there Video editor a way to make a consumer level UHD Disc.
I donot want to buy something outside of this USA I live in.

UHD Disc creation.
Who ever is the first to include that in there editor or even
stand alone app will own the USA market.
My thoughts are that if there is never a home UHD Disc creation possibility
there will never be much reason for consumers to accept and buy 8K cameras or TV's.
So maybe we are stuck at 4K? As there is really not the full use capability yet of even 4K.
My 4K tv still only gets the 1080P cabel TV or Broadcast TV. I only get 4K from my USB thumb drive.
I wish the rest of my Family could see what I have done in 4K instead of 2K Bluray.

I have read in several forums that when you want the absolute best video quality you should do the final render with just the CPU and I was wondering if that is true?
I have done a few small test renders and there is a file size difference when you use the Hardware or GPU vs just the CPU for the render. So what do some of you more experienced editors say? Does the CPU only render give you a small but better render quality.

60 fps or 59.94 fps is in the blu-ray specifications. I have been creating them for the last 5 years with PowerDirector.
Thank you , this is what I wanted to know. What to use for making a Blu-Ray disc. Thanks.

You should be able to put your timeline framerate to 30fps at the very least.
They say for a cinematic looks, you edit with timeline frame rate of 24fps, where this gives you ability to slow down your footage 2.5 times.
Easy answer, I will choose 30fps. Harder answer, if there are lots of "panning, brisk camera movements" I will definitely use 30fps for timeline fps.
Camera movment is there, but not briskly. 75 % of my footage is from multipal GoPro static cameras mounted in a fishing boat.
What I do not understand is if the USA TV signal is 30 fps or really 29. bla,bla,bla.... How can I edit at 60 FPS and in the end burn my MP4 file to a Blue-Ray disc with maybe a menu and it play in everyone elses Blu-Ray player? I thought you had to edit at the frame rate of your intended playback device. Such as on a TV using a Blu-Ray player?

Please someone help. What do I actualy set my perferences at when I intend to make a movie and burn it to a Blu-Ray disc?
Do I set my project perferences to NTSC 60 fps or do I set it to NTSC 30fps. I do not totaly under stand why there are 2 NTSC choices? I want to make a compliant Blue_ray disc for family and friends.
My Gopro footage was shot at 60fps but what do I set my software preferences to please 60 or 30? And why?
