So how do you get it to crossover then? Everytime I put one on, it automatically goes to overlap regardless of where I try to drag it.

I have text that I want to fade in and out. I have it doing it the default way but was wondering if there was a way to change the default fade time to have it come in and go out a little quicker than it is? Thanks

Thanks so much Tony the video was worth watching just for the tip at the end!! There is quite a few in 4:3 that I liked that didn't come in 16:9!

If I understand what you are saying then that's why the menus won't work if you are just burning 8 different projects onto one DVD. For the chapter menus to work I believe you have to insert the chapters in while making the project. So therefore the 8 projects would have to be combined into one to create chapters to work in the menu.

Yep that was it!! I didn't realize all the Christmas ones I downloaded were mostly 4:3!! Now I have to go back and find more 16:9's! lol

I downloaded a bunch of Christmas things, different particles, menus and such and hardly any of them show up in my PowerDirector. Any ideas? Thanks ahead of time.

Hmmm, I will try it out and let you know. I had already posted my slideshow on FB with the other one, but I like Autumn Rain better, so I will go back and switch it and make the movie with it and see. Thanks for the info and going to the trouble to respond as I know life is busy right now with the holidays upon us!!

Thanks, it's our first grandbaby!! I could not figure out what settings were causing the issue, so had to choose something else for the backdrop for the text. I was just trying to throw together a slide show for my Thanksgiving pics to put on FB. So of course something went wrong to keep me on it longer than I wanted to be. lol

I put a different downloaded particle in the exact same spot and the text works just perfectly. So obviously it has something to do with the settings on the first particle. I am going to go play around some more with it now and see if I can figure it out...

I put a text choice from the title room on the timeline, then put a particle I downloaded called Autumn Rain on the timeline at the beginning of my production before the first picture. Whenever I "watch" the movie to preview before rendering it, the text just stops instead of leaving the screen as I have chosen it to. But if I delete the particle and just let the text choice run while the first two pics show it works perfectly. Any ideas on why the text choice won't run correctly on top of the particle choice. Thanks!!
I attached two screen shots to show where I have the stuff. The first one is the one that texts works correctly on, the second is the one that the text just stops instead of leaving the screen correctly.
