But in order to burn in HD you would have to capture in HD, right?
So you can skip this step? Why is the produce step included? If I skip this step will the dvd quality be better, same, or worse than if I used the produce step?
They will be burned to DVD. The highest quality possible but not HD (yet).
I have been working with PD6 for a couple of months now and would like some advice. What is the best format to work with? I have been using the mpeg 2 when I do the produce section. What does everyone recommend?
Also, is there a way to set the SVRT? I have to go in and have to set it every time I do a produce.
Thanks Susan. I appreciate any input possible. I will do some looking and listening for that right sound.
I am trying to make it so the kids like the music but need to make it so adults can listen to it without going nuts. What are some good sports music that you think would work? Thanks for your previous reply.
I am doing a video edit for the football team and have all the highlights done. I need some good instrumental music and really don't care for the smartsound music and sure don't want to pay $99 for one little cd that they offer. Where do most people get some good music for such a thing? I want something that is energetic and good.
Will PD 6 work in vista 64?
I will be dual booting xp pro and vista and experimenting with both. I don't know for sure if it is compatible with xp 64 and vista 64, so if anyone on here can tell me if it is or not, I would greatly appreciate it.
I will have (depending on whether I use 64 bit) at least 3gb of memory and 3 500gb hard drives plus 2 esata 500gb external backup hdd. That should be sufficient I would think.
As for speed I will have the Q6600 oc to 2800 or more. So I think I should be set for that, it is just now to find out if 64 bit will work to determine my memory amount.
How much memory are we talking? What os are you using?
I was just wondering if PD 6 is the fastest and easiest to use when editing football highlights? I have many games that I need to get highlights from to make a highlight dvd. Any one care to comment?
I have 6.00.2120a
What you did does not work for me. I guess I will wait for the patch.
Mine still won't do that!!!!!!
No matter what I set it on it only runs for 5 seconds. I must be doing something wrong. I go through all of th steps and go into create disc mode. I go down to the preference section right next to the create disc without a menu box. I go into menu and put 99 seconds in the box. I go up to preview and it only goes for 5 seconds and that is what it does on the finished products. Am I missing something else???
Can I keep it from starting automatically at all? When you watch a movie the menu on it won't start until you push play (at least it never has for me).
When I have made the menu and the music to go with it I create the dvd. The problem that I have is when I put in the dvd it will start in 5 seconds so I can't access the menu and chapters. What do I need to do to get it to run longer and not start unless I want it to.
