For clarification and completeness, uncheck the "Enable hardware decoding" under Preferences/Hardware acceleration.

I've gotten a green screen ever since I updated from Windows 8 to Windows 10. I just fixed it using this same method:
Under Preferences, uncheck the "Enable hardware decoding".
I've been stumped for months. Today, this method worked for me.

I had the same problem and fixed it today.
If you haven't already done it, download both patches (free updates) for PowerDirector 12 under the Downloads section of Cyberlink. Not downloading the latest patch (from 6/29/2015) was the cause of my problem of not connecting to YouTube.

Under Preferences, uncheck the "Enable hardware decoding".
Apply it and check it out.
