Why do I get a green screen for some clips when producing the mp4 movie file? The software and library are on a 250GB ssd for good performance.

PC details: i7 - 3770, 3.4 GHz, 8 GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 7450 Graphics, Win 7 Pro x64, PD11 Ultra

Try turning off shadow files, under EDIT|PREFERENCES|GENERAL.
Try various combinations of the two choices that you see in options under the HARDWARE tab.
A newer video driver may help. http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
See this thread for other ideas... http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/16190.page

So folks can analyze your system, please create and attach a DXdiag file, per the Welcome "sticky" at the top of this forum. Part B.

Unchecking the second one seems to have fixed it.

Thanks

I've gotten a green screen ever since I updated from Windows 8 to Windows 10. I just found a reference on the forum that fixed my problem:

Under Preferences/Hardware Acceleration, I unchecked the "Enable hardware decoding".

I've been stumped for months. Today, this method worked for me.

Thank you all! best wishes,
~ Donna
