PowerDirecter 12 - Will not connect to my YouTube account (all of a sudden)

I've produced a couple of videos without issue now I get an error "Your Google account is not linked to a YouTube account. Go to YouTube and try to upload a video to create a YouTube account."

I am producing in MPEG-4 format and Full HD like usual. I click Accept like always when prompted for it to manage my account/videos.

Only thing is different is that two days ago I tried to upload this same video and it warned me my video was over 15 minutes and needed to be split up. Okay I said, go ahead and split it up. It got stuck at 5% while producing, so I started over. This time I went to bed as it was downloading smoothly. Woke up the next morning and it said 100% complete. Checked my YouTube account. Nothing. Video wasn't there. Now it's giving me the aforementioned error.

I just downloaded what I assume is the latest patch and I'm still getting the error. Any advice? Thanks

Please excuse the bump but does anyone have any ideas or had this problem? Like I said I've uploaded videos to this account with no problem so I have no idea why it's not letting me all of a sudden.

Yes I have been getting this error since beginning of June after uploading videos to my youtube account for ages. I even upgraded after reading of how many are getting this error. Still cant upload- says not linked with google account which is absolutely is !!!

I don't care what they say, uploading a video to the YouTube account does absolutely NOTHING whatsoever to fix the issue! They've obviously never had this issue so they just spout off the advice that everyone else has ever given to fix this particular issue. Oh, and the patch, tried it. . . doesn't do a damned thing either. Looks like I paid a lot of money for a ****** upgrade with more problems than it will ever be worth!

And WHY does it list me as a newbie? I've had and have used this account for years!

I had the same problem and fixed it today.

If you haven't already done it, download both patches (free updates) for PowerDirector 12 under the Downloads section of Cyberlink. Not downloading the latest patch (from 6/29/2015) was the cause of my problem of not connecting to YouTube. best wishes,
