I too have updated the o.s. on my mac mini pro to Sonoma and found that PowerDirector now crashes on launch.. I've tried a fresh install of the application but still the same.

On the whole, Sonoma is very stable and PowerDirector is the only app that crashes for me so far.
Quote Hello,

I have duplicated your results on the Mac I have here. I forwarded the information on to CyberLink.

Hi,

On this.. i've posted an issue with trimmed clips that i'm trying to track and it only refers to the original untrimmed clip..

I'd be interested if anyone else see's this issue on the Mac

Many thanks, Tim
Hi,

I have the latest Mac PD365 cleanly installed on my Mac Mini M1 running Monterey.

If I trim a clip on the timeline and track that clip it will always track from the original un-trimmed clip !

Also, if I pre-cut a clip before putting on the timeline.. it does the same.. the moment you click track it jumps to the whole clip and tracks on that.. very odd and renders it pretty useless.

Anyone else experience this ?

Also, right click to paste doesn't work.. it shows the option but does nothing. Cmd + V does work though.
Hi,

The Signing out and back in unfortunately didn't help.

I contacted support and they said to uninstall PD & Application Manager.. re-download and install both.. this solved the issue

Thanks for coming back to me though..

Cheers,

Tim
Hi,

I've just updated my Mac version of PD365 via the Application Manager and now it's saying I only have the Free version or can upgrade with a discount. I have the full subscription.

Been working a treat until the update today.

Anyone else getting this ?

Mac Mini M1 running latest Monterey.

Many thanks, Tim
