Thank you! This worked. There is no longer any stuttering. I did create a new topic in the forum due to issues with missing menu navigation bars. Thanks again.

Does anyone know if the issue noted in the following link has been resolved in PD15? I currenlty have this problem.
http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/42177.page
I am using PD15 and burning about 43GB (3 1/2 hours) on a 50GB blank Blu-Ray disc. When I look in Preview, I am able to see the all the navigation menu bars and tested them as well (back, forward, home). But after I burn, the Nav Bars are no longer there. If I arrow down from the two levels of menu items (2 rows of 3 menu items) it will "highlight" a blank area. The only thing that can be seen is a very thin green rectangular bar that identifies something is there. I can't see the Nav bars on the computer or on my TV. This is a custom menu with 21 menu items, 6 on each page except the last. BUT the menu items (play & scenes) can be seen on the root page. Just not on the Chapter pages. I have redone the chapters several times and have made sure all the menus/icons are within the TV Grid Range. I have never had this problem using menus with regular DVD burning. Any help would be appreciated.

This is my first time burning to Blue Ray and the first burn came out choppy. I have always shot video with 30fps and exported it to a mp4 file with no issues at all. Now, I'm trying to burn to Blue Ray with video shot in 30fps but my only two options are 1920x1080/24p and 1920x1800/60i. I burn using 24p and it seemed a bit choppy, not smooth. Is there a way to burn in 30p? or what is the best way to stop it from burning so choppy?

Hi Everyone...I just have a question because my googling doesn't seem to be very good. I use PD 15 and I'm looking for a template to create a video intro. The video intro is kinda what you see on ESPN with small video clips within the video. I have seen plenty of templates for Adobe Premier but can't find anything for Power Director...if it exists. Here are two examples of what I am looking for:
video intro 1
Video Intro 2
Any help would be appreicated finding a template to use.
Thanks.

Typically I record everything in AVCHD and then create my video using PD13. When completed, I produce it with the file format of H.264AVC and select MP4 and then choose the quality of MPGEG-4 1920 x 1080/30p (16 Mbps). The output looks great on a HD screen and when I post it to Vimeo it looks great as well. Question 1, is this the best method to create a high quality file? I got to this process by trial/error and never really knew if this was the best way to do it even though i was happy with my results.
But...When creating a disk from the time line, the result is a disk with not very good quallity. I understand that with everything created in HD, the SD result would be substandard but I didn't expect it to be this bad especially when the HD MP4 video looks good on a screen that is not HD. Question 2, what is the best way to get better results in my DVD disks? Should I change some of the settings above when it is created or what am I doing wrong? I am using a basic DVD+-RW drive that came with my PC last year.
Thanks...I would appreicate any and all comments.

Hi tomasc,
The majority of the source files are scanned jpgeg's. The potential issue is that the video used is not very good (converted VHS to digital). But again, the jpges in the movie look great in MP4. Will I need to get a BluRay Disk Burner to get the greater sharpness?

Hi all...I'm still a relative newbie especially since I upgraded to PD13. I've created a 22 minute video using PD13. When I produce to MP4, the resulting video file quality is great. But when I burn it to disk, the video quality is lowered a lot. When I create a disk the only encoding format available is MPEG-2 and it is set to HQ-Best Quality. I have to admit I don't know much about rendering, bit rate, etc but in the past when I burn the disk the quality is good. What am I doing wrong?

Hi all...looking for some tips and suggestions. I installed Holiday Pack #4 and i'm having some issues that are aggravating. I understand the goal of the pack is to provide the pics and video and let the Magic Style do all the work. But the results needs some editing. Is there any documentation on minor editing and use of the holiday packs? I've searched this forum, google and youtube and can't find anything. My biggest issues in my video clips (20-40 seconds each) being split up when it goes though the magic process. For example, I would have in order (pic, pic, pic, video, pic, pic, pic, pic...more pics) but the video will not play all the way at once..it gets splitup.... and another issue, I can't really find a way to get the right pictures in the right order for when the magic style zooms/etc to the right type of picture. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks ynotfish...I have it going now...but I do have one follow-up question...how do I change the length of time each picture is shown? I'm starting off with "Memory Fields" but each pic is only shown for about 1 second and I can't find where to change the length...the video's I inserted play fine and are the correct length

Hi Tony,
I hope you didn't think i left you after your help. I was in a car accident and I'm finally getting myself back together. I'll go through your instructions and see if that helps.

Hi All,
Quick question. Are you able to use multiple Theme Designs (PD12) in one project? I have about a 20 minute project with an assortment of pictures that I want to separate into several themes. Is this possible?
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply Tony. I feel like an idiot because now I can't figure out how to submit my pic. I've tried several different ways but nothing with stick within this window. There must be a process that I don't know about. Anyways, the diagram you sent is very close to what I have. What I am looking to do can be seen in the interview part of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CT5zXkjdU8E
Notice how the reflection is angled like the PIP...and the reflection is very short...that is what I am looking for. Thanks again

Hi All...I'm a newbie as of noon today and I've been working all day with PD12 LIVE. I've got the jist of everything and its going well although slow...but it will take time. One thing I can't find online/Youtube/Forums has to do with specific "reflections" in PIP Designer. I've done the following:
* Inserted video to timeline
* Resized video to play next to Title slide so that text and video are shown side by side
* I have modified the angle of the PIP design to give it an angled look right to left
* I choose "reflection" but here are my two questions:
1. Although the PIP design is angled, the reflection is straight. How do I edit the reflection so that it flows with the angle of the PIP design?
2. The reflection goes to the bottom of the screen. I want to modify the reflection (crop maybe?) so that it reflects only a certain distance out from PIP design. When I choose "distance" is pushed the beginning of the reflection out farther, what I want is the opposite when the end of the reflection is closer to the PIP design.
Like I said, I'm a newbie so I apologize if this information is somewhere online or in these forums but I can't find them at this time.
Thanks in advance!
