I was using the Zoom only as an audio interface, not as a multitrack. I think the issue may be to do with the ASIO driver not being compatible with PD. I have worked round it by using another mixer into the computer line in socket but was wondering if anyone else has used the Zoom or any other audio interface with PD. My main issue (and confusion) is that I can select the Zoom as a device from the Voiceover Room but it doesn't actually seem to work.

It is actually in PowerDirector I am having the problem although I checked Screen Recorder and it did not work their either. I can get an ordinary microphone to work in both but I'm not too impressed with the sound quality.

Hi Folks
I am able to select my audio device in the voiceover room (it is a Zoom R16 audio interface) but although I can see plenty of green bars when I select the mixer , I am getting no level at all on the input volume. I can record a track but, unsurprisingly there is no audio on it. It seems to me that the sound is clearly getting into the computer but not into PowerDirector. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thank you Barry, I'll certainly try what you suggest but I have found that .pngs don't seem to be crisp enough for fine lines but I have found a few fonts that are basically circles and arrows and these will probably do the job for me.

Hi
Is there any way to add simple shapes such as lines, arrows, circles and squares to the timeline. I can use fonts with symbols and I can prepare them as image files but does anyone know of a simpler way?

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I didn't realise you could select from the preview display. I assumed selection was only in menu structure and when the subtitles were not there, panic set in!

Hi Folks. Hope you can help. I am attempting to edit the subtitle page for a DVD. Because the subtitle page doesn't appear in the menu structure, how or where can I change the title? My subtitle page still has "My Videos" as the title and I can't see how to change this. I have managed to remove the default music only by editing the sound file to zero volume, again because I seem only to be able to edit the Root and scenes menu pages
