Hi,
Thanks for your advice and have done all that but it has made no difference at all. Nor found any problems. I have since trying to do this clip , recorded another and they are quicker but still slow to what it was earler. All avi files are much slower now but they all load in seconds with Premier Elements so it must be related in some fashion to PD365. All very strange but I can live with it for now.
Thanks.

Have attached the DX file. The video is a single clip as it were about 2 hours long. I have tried another avi clip that is about 1 Hr long and have the same problem. The whole thing used to whip along but not anymore. Troubling! Have reverted to Premier Elements on a temp basis.
Thanks.

Hi,
I am expereincing long delays in using File, Import and then selecting a 3 Gig AVI file. It can take up to 4 minutes before it loads and then another few minutes to drop onto the time line. Everthing has been fine up until the last update. Another AVI file about 2.5 gig is also taking a good few minutes. It drops into Adobe Premier Elements immediately.
Drivers all up to date have a Ryzen 5 3600, Evo Labs 1TB drive x2 32 gig Ran, Radeon R9 290. All reasonably new. In fact swapped out the hard drives and am now running on a clean install of Win 10 and CYbelrink 365.
The AVI files are just VHS tapes that I am converting. Its all very strange. Have switched off shadow files, no difference, switched it on, no difference.
Looking at the resource monitor there seems to be no action at all apart from very high resource usage by PD365. Barely any CPU, GPU or disk activity.
Anyone got any clues.
Thanks

Hi
I have produced some videos from an iPhone in the 9:16 format which play fine on my PC. Howver, as soon as I try and play them on my Smart TV (Sony Bravia) the movoe appears sideways. The picture is perfect but have to tilt my head to the left to view it. Have tried, chaing the clip attributes, made sure I am in 9:16, have tried 4:3 and 16:9 (both stretched).
Am producing the video to a USB stick in MP4 format but nothing I do switches it back to a 9:16 view vertical view. I know that it will be long and thin but its unwatchable as it stands.
Any ideas how to sort this one out.
Thanks

Hi,
I've just checked on my system with PDR16,15,14 and 12 (13 has gone missing somewhere) in all cases, when I enter the Create Disc module, the undo function becomes unavailable, but is available when re-entering the Edit mode.
Please give more precise details of your issue to enable members to check the problem.
Cheers

That is the problem. It does become unavalaible in Cretae Disk and in PD15 and earlier it reappears when you click on edit, but not on my PowerDirector 16. It remains unavailable and I am unable to undo previous edits.
Thanks

Have been using PD for many years with no real problems. Just upgraded to 16 and now after editing and I click on Create Disk the undo option is no longer valid. So. if I have made a mistake and click back on edit I can no longer go back and undo. Its geyed out. It works otherwise during editing and the box is ticked for 50 undo's. I have checked my previous version and after click on Create Disk and creating one I can still clcik edit and the undo works, but not on PD16. This is a pain...any ideas.

Thanks for a quick response. I sort of understand what you say but if I edit the video, add some effects, title it add chapters etc. and then I use create disk all the effects are still there. So, I still don't quite fully understand the need to produce it first, as there seems to be no need.
I have probably misunderstood the process but it seems to be a step that is not needed as the end result is the same.
Perhaps you could clarify that
Thanks

Hi
I usually capture video edit it and then burn it to a folder. Is there some reason you have to produce it? Does it affect the size or whatever?
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but cant find anything else about it elsewhere.
Programme works a treat though.
Thanks

Hi,
In the last few days the programme is reporting the wrong size of finished video. In the create a disk section it says 4500mb (for example) but it cant be burned to a dvd because its actually 5790. I upgraded to 12 as it started last week on Power Director 11 . Any ideas. I have a Win 7 systems that works fine otherwise in all other aspects.
Am in the UK and hope someone can help.
Thanks
Jeremy
