In English, what does the ScreenCapture error says?

I cant see anything that jumps out at me in your diagnostic other than you're a bit low on spare capacity in C drive for HD editing. How old are these HDD you have?
What's the spin speed on them?
Have you uninstalled/re-installed PDR11 (uninstall via the control panel)?
Have you uninstalled QT and WaveEditor via the Control Panel when you uninstalled PDR11?
What other media based (audio/video/TV/graphic/capture) software are you running on your PC?
What software do you have installed on your PC? I'm looking for a software conflict.
I'm inclined to think you have either a software conflict, poor installation of PDR11 or you have a hardware issue. The Contents error message may just be a misnomer and triggered by the fault but not really guiding us in the right direction. The startup run error looks to be a "wake up" message as your system is faulty.
Have you taken your computer to a local tech support to be checked? This may be a better option on your part.
Dafydd
Thanks again,
Answering your questions:
1.- The drives, C:/ included, are no more than two years old and I check them regularly for S.M.A.R.T. and read/write errors with Seatools utility (diagnostics Seagate utility) and they are OK
2.- 7200 RPM
3.- I have un-installed PD via the control panel and re-installed it (this last version) again: same result.
3.- NO, I have not uninstalled Wave Editor or QT, just PD11
4.- I work mainly with Cubase 6 for music production BUT both programs (Cubase & PD11) NEVER run at the same time.
5.- At the time of working with PD11, besides Windows own processes, services etc. I exclusively (I am very strict with RAM usage, so I kill every process and service not related to the work I am going to do, be it Audio or Video) have NIS (Norton AV) and a utility-Core Temp- that checks the CPU temperatures. NOTHING else.
In fact, I try to run my PC as lean as possible, so I keep it clean from useless files and I run in real-time very few things, but as I said before, when I am doing work with PD I only have three services: one is RichVideo, the Audio Card service and Norton AV and around 37 processes Microsoft´s included, so, as you can see, I keep my PC in very good shape running as fast and smooth as when it was new.
I regularly use CCleaner to get rid of useless temp files, keep my drivers up-to date, check my registry for useless or outdated entries and defrag and optimize my c:/ drive weekly.
As a matter of fact, I do not consider this a show stopping problem cause after the initial tantrum, I can re-launch it fine a second time and voila, I can work for hours without problems, always happen this way.
Thanks

Thank You Dafydd,
In fact I was not posting anything besides the fist one, because I attached the needed information on the original first post and I am waiting for it to be analyzed and commented if or when possible. I have noticed non the less, that it happens more often just after the moment when I have turned ON the machine in the morning, so i am relating the failure more often than not to the process of waking UP, you know, HD working and memory RAM being assigned, so new programs (other than the Auto Start processes, services etc) opening must be kind of "waiting on line" to take it´s portion of RAM and HD and I have noticed that once the RAM and HD activity are idle, PowerDirector opens fine and keep on working, BUT this is a "theory" and certainly it was not happening with the two previous versions.

John-hpxref2,
Are you entering "dxdiag" (without the quotes) in the 'search programs and files' box?
Hal
Yes I am, but if you want a better searcher, download "Everything" (yes, that is the name of the utility) from https://ninite.com/ and if it does NOT appear on an Everything search, it is because you definitely do NOT have it in your system, which is rare, because dxdiag.exe is an important app which comes with any new installation of Windows

Hi,
sometimes your system need a cold reboot for the updates to take effect...have you tried that route?
Jim
Sorry for the late response!
I always turn OFF my machine after using it and this problem happens immediately after turning it on and launching PD11 and as I mentioned on my first it happens sometimes, NOT always and besides, this problem appeared just after updating to .2707 and never before with any other previous version, so it must be a problem with the .2707 version.

Hi,
Like some other members here in the forum, I also get an eventual error appearing when I launch PowerDirector Ultra 11. This started happening after I applied the update ver. 11.0.0.2707 ...btw, I UN-installed and reinstalled this version but the error appears again.
I say it is eventual, because after closing the error warning window and launching PD again, it opens fine and I can work with it without problems.
I am attaching one .jpg with the error warning and the DiazruanovaDxDiag.txt file
I am using W7 Home Premium x64bit
PowerDirector Ultra ver. 11.0.0.2707
SR Number: VDE130121-01
Antivirus: Norton Internet Security 2013 ver. 20.3.0.36 (latest version)
only the Norton AV is running quietly on the back ground, nothing else!
Thanks

Thank you Tony,
Most of my original pics are more than 1920 x 1080 and I use Photoshop Elements, so maybe it is good advice to crop them to 1920 x 1080 in Elements before sending them to PD.
Thanks again

Hi,
I recently bought PD 11 Ultra and I am still learning the User Manual but I would like to make already a video from photographs that I have in high quality JPG format, but they are very heavy (8 Mb average-right out from the camera), so I was wondering:
In order to upload to YouTube a full 1080 HD video made out from these photos, which .jpg resolution do you recommend to convert and export the original photos, so they are not too heavy BUT still high quality for HD on YouTube?
Thanks a lot for any advice

Hi,
Finally I decided to buy PD 11 Ultra and was wondering if I can install the three content packs on a different internal (faster) disk, so I do not saturate my C:/ OS one?
Thanks a lot!
I think not, I installed PD11 in another HD and yet the effects were for HD C:
Thanks, Yes, I already installed everything on the main C:/ drive just to avoid any possible ill side effect.
Everyrthing seems OK.
Best

One of the causes of new powerdirector installation to freeze it not updating Quicktime and having a Video Card driver that is too old.
Go to Quicktime and get the latest Quicktime (Uninstall the old one before install the new one).
Go to the Manufacturer site for your video card and download and install the latest driver.
Thank you Carl,
Indeed it was the display driver and not that it was old, but on the contrary, I was using a BETA driver and certainly I never imagined that this could cause the problem, so I went to the AMD site and downloaded the official stable driver and voila, it opened fine!
Thank you very much !!!

Hi,
I am new to video editing and am very interested on buying PD 11, so after reading the system requirements, I decided to download and install the free 30 day trial. Installation was smooth, but when I tried to launch the program afterwards, it stays stuck with a "window" that seems to be opening the program, but stays there forever (please see attached image .jpg)
Now, I opened a support ticket, but the replies from the technicians are painfully slow, sometime taking almost 8 days between replies and so far they have been unable to solve my problem. At this pace, the 30 day trial will end before they give me a solution.
The following are the specs of my system:
CPU: Intel Core i7 860 @2.8Ghz with 4Cores,8 Threads and Hyperthreading.
RAM: DDR3 8Gb
Screen Resolution: 1280 x 1024
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5670 with 1Gb memory, support for DirectX 11, OpenGl 4.2
HD: WDC HD 7200 rpm with 70 Gb free space
A full functioning DVD burner and a good broadband internet connection.
Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks
