Today it was my lucky day, I found an old back-up with the AVCHD folders of my roadtrip through the USA..
So finally I can watch this on the PS3 again and I will make another back-up of these folders

Thanks anyway.....
I've tested some M2TS files from: http://www.demo-world.eu/2d-demo-trailers-hd/

These have no problems with importing...
Strange......
Hi,

In Powerdirector 12 I made some big HD M2TS files of 22 gig.
With multiAVCHD I converted this file to an AVCHD disk to play it on the playstation3.

When importing this M2TS file again in PD13 only the audio will be recognized but no video.....
Why is that?

(Also TSmuxer will not recognize the separate audio and video track)
(VLC player will play the M2TS file with no problems)

thanks
Thanks Nathan but for blu-ray you can't set these settings.
I tried now the PS3 option in multiAVCHD and played the AVCHD directly from my harddisk on the PS3.
It seems that the stuttering is over....
- powerdirector output: .m2ts 1920x1080/50p
- Fixed this file with FIXPD9
- Made a blu-ray disk with MultiAVCHD
- Burned it with imgburn...

Now my movie is finished with a total length of 2hours.
I did the same approach as above but now the blu ray is stuttering on sound if I play it on the PS3.
The same blu ray on my PC with VLC player has no problem with sound stuttering..

There is an option on the PS3 to turn off 24Hz but this didn't help to avoid the sound stuttering.

Please help!
Thanks...
Author a Blu-ray disc with MultiAVCHD using the 1920x1080/50p .m2ts file from FIXPD9

It worked!

- powerdirector output: .m2ts 1920x1080/50p
- Fixed this file with FIXPD9
- Made a blu-ray disk with MultiAVCHD
- Burned it with imgburn...

Thanks!
Thanks Jmone,

I've fixed my 1920x1080/50p .m2ts file with FIXPD9.
Then it will play on my PS3!

So this is the best way to have the best quality on my PS3?
For example a 1920x1080/50p Mpeg-4 output has less quality?

Still the blu-ray or AVCHD won't play on the PS3:
How to make the 1920x1080/50p AVCHD disk work on my PS3?
If I do this in powerdirector on a memory stick the PS3 won't play it...

Thank you very much!
Thanks Gents!

I find out that I can use custom mpeg-4 profile with 1920x1080/50p.
That''s the best option I think...

But the problem remains with a Blu-ray or AVCHD disk.
It won't play on the PS3.....
Same problem here...
My PS3 won't play powerdirector's Blu-ray (1920x1080/24p) and M2ts file (1920x1080/50p).....
I tried that already with my extended hard disk.
The PS3 shows that it is incompatible data.

A MPEG-4 1920x1080/25p (13 Mbps) file will play on the PS3 but the picture not as good as the source file.

This is the VLC codec from the source file:

This is the 1920x1080/50p m2ts output file from powerdirector (incl. photo's and transitions)
Yes if I put the SD-card from the Panasonic directly in the PS3 it will play the 1920x1080/50P perfect and crystal clear......
I've got 1920x1080/50P source video from my Panasonic camera and did produce it to a 1920x1080/50P (28Mbps) .m2ts file.
But my PS3 won't play it??
TsMuxer to convert to PS3 won't work because the audio is corrupted.

I've tested also a blu-ray with menu on 1920x1080/24P (there is no profile for 50P) resolution but then the menu is not showing on the PS3. Black screen with only sound.
On my PC the blu-ray will ply with VLC...

PS3>Onkyo SR605>Benq W1000 projector.
All these instruments should handle and pass through 24p signals....

Thanks!
Quote: Hello
For the last 15 years or so I have used Pinnacle products, at the moment I use V16. It handles 60P well, using TsMuxer and Roxio I can burn 60P BD that works well on a 2 year old Samsung BD player after a recent firmware update.

The problem with P16 is that it re-encodes the whole video and doing a poor job.

So the aim is to use an editing software that does not re-encode untouched 60P video and PD11 seems to do that.

However the resulting files cannot be imported into TsMuxer, or MultiAVCHD, apparently the audio part is corrupted.

Is there a setting or workaround that will allow this to be done with PD11?

Any help is appreciated, I have read most of the material I found but there appears to be no simple solution.

Of course it would be nice if Cyberlink would not require external software to burn 60P BD's. BTW I use the trial version 11.

Eugene

I'm also very interested!

I've tested also a blu-ray with menu on 1920x1080/50i (there is no profile for 50P) resolution but then the menu is not showing on the PS3. Black screen with only sound. If I push further it will play the video but not with the quality it should be.......
