Non standard audio, P60 1920x1080 edit refused by TsMuxern

I like the fact that PD11 allows smart rendering for 60P AVCHD, the problem is the PD11 non standard audio output. I send a query to Cyberlink on that subject 4 days ago, so far no reply.

TsMuxer is essential in order to burn a 60P BD, No problem using Pinnacles V16 output or the original camera files, TsMuxer has no problems. But with the PD11 output only the video will load, not the audio and there is an error message like non standard input.

BTW same problem with MULTIAVCHD.

Since TsMuxer will not accept the edited 60P 1920x1080 output, PD11 is useless at the moment, I hate to spend several days editing for nothing.

I do need some answers, unfortunately it appears that this problem has been known and around for a while.

I am using the trial version but that should not matter.

Using Media info, I just compared the audio parameters of the original camera clip with the PD11 edited output. Other than the duration and delay, ALL audio parameters are the same.
Video parameters are identical too, other than a minor difference in GOP, and bitrate.

Camera is a Panasonic HC-x900M, Output format is AVCHD2.0, 1920x1080 60P
After editing, the output format in example 1, 2, 3, is NOT changed. (Changing the output format to MPEG2 60i, same AVCHD2.0 input DID make a difference and works fine in TsMuxer.)This sentence was edited.

So:
1) Using Pinnacle V16 I can import the 60P 1920x1080 camera clips, edit and produce a P60 1920x1080 output. Then run it through TsMuxer in Blue-Ray disk mode, take that output and burn it on a 25GB BD using Roxio. Made about 10 of those, confirmed parameters with Mediainfo.

2) Importing into TsMuxer a few original camera video files, add them in TsMuxer and burn as above no prob.

3) Importing the same camera files into PD11 ver 11-0.0.2215, NO edits, transitions etc. Render using SVRT3 or the other modes
and produce a video. TsMuxer accepts only the video and proclaims "nonstandard video" regardless of render mode used or even audio mode used.
MULTIAVCHD has same problem.

Thanks Eugene

I like, and would like to buy the PD11 editor but would be crazy to do so under these circumstances.

Any help would be appreciated.
Rockingpete are your problems similar, are U using the free test version?

Eugene

ADDED SUMMARY : Apparently the problem only appears when using PD11 to produce a AVCHD output. When outputting 60i there appears to be no problem.

UPDATE

Tried to do a short video using a different camera Sony 580, same 60P 1920x1080 format, after running it through PD11 into TsMuxer,

SAME ERROR CODE ,: UNSUPPORTED FORMAT

Upgrading the Nvidea drivers made no difference

The trial version has produce selected limitations and is not a good model for you to use to test AVCHD production.

Hi Eugene,
http://www.cyberlink.com/store/director-suite/buy_en_US.html

CyberLink have a 30 day money back guarantee if customers purchase via their Online Store.

I hope the additional information helps and I certainly look forward to your Forum input with questions about PDR11

Dafydd,
I have been wondering about that too.

Is it possible that someone reading this can check if they have the same problem??

All it takes is the TsMuxer and a 1920x1080 60P file.

Thanks for the reply

Hi guys
There must be someone who can spare 5 minutes, take a 1920x1080 60P file put it in PD11 and set the output the same, AVCHD2 1920x1080 60P and take that file and put it into TsMuxer.
Even with the 30 day return privilege, I hate to buy .

Thanks

I started an experiment last week but I'm currently away. I can confirm that for the 60p profiles I tried, using various audio codec changes, tsmuxer could not accept any, just accepting the video stream but no audio.

Can't offer any further insight at present.

Cheers

Thanks for the replies !

I really enjoy making videos of our trips etc and very much strive to maintain the best possible video quality.
PD does not render files that have not been modified, to my knowledge it is the only one in this price bracket. All other render everything and thus artifacts, noise etc.

The best quality I can obtain is in 1920x1080 60P and it is this format that will not work when inputting it to TsMuxer.
Mpeg2 for example is no problem.

So no Eureka when I came across PD11. BUMMER!!!

What is so sad, is the fact that this appears to be an old problem, would have been nice to have the R&D people devote a little time to fixing existing problems rather than come up with new gimmicks.

I will download that file and try it out. Should not have been necessary!

Anyone knows about any other proxy editors?

Thank

Eugene

Jmone,

I tried the fix, unfortunately it does not help.
While TsMuxer will accept the rendered PD11 video but not the audio, neither video nor audio are accepted after running it through the FixPD9.zip

I do appreciate your input jmone

ADRIAN, thank you so much for your effort. Which version of PD11 do you have?

Attached (I hope) is a 1920x1080 60P file. The file was generated in PD11, input and output identical. When I try to load this or like files into TsMuxer only the video loads, the error message is nonstandard video.

When using the original camera output, same format, TsMuxer has no problem.

The file is quite big, PD11 will not work making a shorter video, the choice of format is about the worst too.

Thanks for the offer to try this out.

I will give it an other try and to be sure download your file again.

Did you have a chance to try putting my file into TsMuxer w/o running it through your fixpd9 program?

I t appears that you have PD10. If you try to edit a file, same HD 60P, or 50P format, will it work in TsMuxer?.

If it does I might just get version 10.

Thanks.

I currently use PD11. As you have seen their is a muxing issue that has been around since at least PD9. All the FIXPD9 batch file does is demux the streams using eac3to then remux them with tsmuxer so you get a nice standard/compliant output. As with the thread I linked to, be warned that it can bring out sync issues pending what acceleration options were used in PD when the file was created. PD 64 Bit-Win10 64 Bit-32GB RAM-80TB HDD

jmone,
thank you for checking this out sofast.

Actually I do not own a PS3, I am trying to edit 60P in PD11 and then via TsMuxer and Roxio burn some 60P Blu-Ray discs.

I also have Pinnacle V16 and have produced a number of 60P BD discs that way w/o any problems. Unfortunately P 16 renders everything and that is why I am wrestling with PD16 at the moment.

I tried FIXPD9 again and same problem, TsMuxer will not accept anything that has been processed by it, not even the video. And FIXPD9 appears to go through the proper motions , incl progress indicator.

Just to verify, could you please run my original file as well the FIXPD9 processed file into the TsMuxer and see what happens?

I am much obliged and appreciate your help.

As I mentioned, PD11 is the only editor I know of that uses proxy editing and I shure like to see it work.

vn800rider, Adrian has confirmed in a previous post, the issue I am having problems with, he cannot input to TsMuxer either, only the video is accepted and the error message is non standard audio.!

I'm really confused as FIXPD9 uses "tsmuxer" so if it works.... it works...., eg the process is:
1) use PD to create your file (as you did)
2) make sure it is names produce.m2ts (this is the default output name, your sample was produce_1.m2ts so I had to rename it)
3) place produce.m2ts in the extracted FIXPD9 folder
4) run FIXPD9.BAT
5) you should see it first demux the audio and video streams (using eac3to)
6) you should then it see remux the audio and video streams into a file called output.m2ts (using tsmuxer command line if).
