I have many photos from travels taken with my cell phone. They should all have the EXIF data on them - is there any way PhotoDirector can use thes to place them on a mapping application like Bing or Google Maps?
My experience....
I a using PowerDirector 16.
I opened up PD, then opened up my taskbar icons, hovered over the Shuttle Xpress icon and it said 'Explorer.exe has the focus'
I opened up the control panel and it also says Global Settings.
I created new settings (blank) and pointed the exectuable to PDR.exe (PowerDirector Executable)
It still says focus set to 'Explorer.exe' HOWEVER, with a video loaded - the Shuttle wheel works (fwd and rwd) so does the jog. Right most button - beginning, left most - end. Middle - play. One button does nothing. But I can probably config it!
So -thank you!!!
PS - makes editing easier!!!!! Mr. V
What's wrong with clicking on the "Windows Phone" button on the page you linked? The OS needs to be Windows 8.1 or higher. Is that the issue?
Cheers - Tony
Hello Tony!
Clicking the link does work - but you only get the app on the PC.
There is no option for Windows Phone after you click the link
Seems. obvious, right, click the link..I want it on my phone (the only person in the world with a Windows Phone)
Btw, if you have any online work with PowerDirectory online - please share a link. I like to see what others have done.
How long have you been using it? Have you used the mobile version?
Thanks for responding though! Appreciate the effort!
As tomasc has indicated, it's quite an easy process.
If you're trying to extract a very short snippet, it's helpful to first remove most of the unwanted audio from the timeline. This will give you a clearer view of what you're editing.

Hey - your video clips are AMAZING!!!!
The visualization really helped!
I am looking to grab little bits of voice and music from other clips. Did not think about remove all the other stuff first....I hope there is an undo function!
What is the best way to cut/copy a piece of sound from a sound clip. I want to grab just a certain portion of a sound clip.
I am having a lot of difficulty being accurate. I find when I expand the timeline then hit play - it whips buy really fast making it hard mark and clip the beginning or end of the sound byte I want to grab. So I am having a hard time grabbing the exact audio I want.
Is there a way to slow down the sound clip then the time line is expanded so I can hit pause when I think the sound byte I want started and ends?
Or is there a smarter way to do this?
I did search on Youtube like 'cutting out a sound byte' and 'trimming audio with Power Director'
I found PowerDirector University pretty good, but not exactly what I want.
