I'm getting this error when attempting to play a new Bluray I just bought online.
"AACS License Key Update"
With this text (See image Below0
"An important component of Cyberlink Power DVD requires you must update Cyberlink PowerDVD to continue the playback of this content. Then I click yes and it successfully updates the AACS codes but goes in a continous loop."
I was unable to get the Bluray to play. The only update I can apply right now is the update the Breaks the Audio in PowerDVD.
So, I can't update to this patch because then my audio doesn't work at all.
This is quite frustrating that from what I've observed Cyberlink software starts to not work very good and they are always trying to push new versions as a solution. I'm not willing to give more money in hopes I can keep playing my Blurays. All my other Bluray movies work fine.
This isn't the first time I've seen a prompt come up saying it nees to update in order to play the disk but this is the first time updating doesn't do anything.
I had a friend test the disk on his Sony Playstation 3 and it works fine on a stand alone player. I contacted the manufacturer and they said this is the first time they heard about this problem. Thx for any ideas or fixes.

Yes, I agree that this is VERY frustrating! Is Cyberlinks fix to just try and get me to upgrade to fix this issue? If so, I'll be looking at changing software suites and not using this anymore!

After applying this patch PowerDVD_13.0.5423.58_Patch_DVD150317-03.exe I'm unable to get audio to work. This shows as being the latest patch for my version based on the update patch site.
Here's a screen shot of my version as well>
The program still shows audio as working but I don't get any sound output. What can I do to fix this? The latest version I have in my downloads that appears to be a complete release is version CyberLink_PowerDVD13_Ultra_DVD130719-14.exe.
I believe the previous patch I applied was this one based off what I have in my organized download update folders.
PowerDVD_13.0.4324.58_Patch_DVD140617-06.exe
Thanks for any/all help! I currently have "Silver" status access to the community.

Hi,
the BD advisor reports that HDMI 1.4 is not supported by your card:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 HDMI1.4 stereo: Unsupported
br
Michael
Hmm, that doesn't really make sense? I use the HDMI to output to my RPTV in the living room and it works fine. I'm using the DVI cable for my computer. It used to work on my old GTX 570. Strange... I also have an HDMI connection on this monitor for my Playstation 3. I went ahead and disconnected my HDMI from the Video card and the Monitor and rebooted. The 3D light emitter is coming on but I'm not getting any 3D still on my Kung Fu Panda 2. I tried changing the setting from NVIDIA 3D VISION and to Auto detect 3D display but that didn't work.
Yesterday, it also turned on the 3d emitter light while the HDMI cables were plugged in and for some reason one of the regular DVD's I put in actually worked in 3D. Seems kinda strange and it's a bummer I can't use 3D anymore for Blu Ray movies. My Playstation 3 actually works for 3D but I wanted to get a new 3D Blue Ray that's region 3 and I can't use that on my PS3 so that's why I was trying to get this working. Let me know if I can try anything else. Or, if I upgraded to the latest Ultra 12 version and it still didn't work would you guys offer a refund? I'd hate to buy the new version thinking it would work only to find out it doesn't. I might go to the Nvidia forums and see if I can find anything. Thx for any/all help.
Also, this site says it is supported>

Hi, can support take a look at this issue for me? I've provided as much as I can. Last time I posted a thread I never got a response either. I'd like to get this issue resolved. Thx

Hi,
I'm having an issue where my 3D light emitter won't come on my monitor for 3D Blu Rays. This used to work about a year ago on my system. The only thing that's changed since then is I upgraded to a EVGA 680 GTX. This should make it work better if anything. My 3D works fine in games, etc.
I've tried all sorts of things to get it to work. I changed my refresh on the display to 60Hz from 120Hz. This doesn't matter since the software appears to change it back to 120Hz which is what it should be for 3D anyways.
I'm using the latest Nvidia nvision drivers and my 3D works fine in games.
I went into the Nvidia 3D settings and tried changing the > Select when the display is in 3D mode from > Only when 3D programs run and also Only when Full Screen 3D programs run. I even changed it to Always and it's still not working!
I'm using a dedicated 3D Blu Ray title (Kung Fu Panda 2). 3D used to work with my regular DVD's and with this Blu Ray 3D on this software so this is kind of upsetting. Any ideas?
I also clicked on the 3D button and get this message saying my monitor only support 3d in full screen. It used to say this before but it would turn the light on the monitor and 3D would come on.
Under the 3D Display Configuration within the application it has NVIDIA 3D VISION Ready Monitor button selected which seems correct. I even tried the Auto detect 3D display and that didn't work. I tried rebooting, disabling/enabling 3D in Nvidia control panel and nothing has worked. I've attached my dxdiags and the Cyber Link BD & 3D advisor output as well. Thanks for any help with this. The only reason I'm trying to get it to work is because I want to buy a new 3D movie but not if this doesn't work. I was debating on upgrading to 12 Ultra since it comes with Mediaespresso but not sure.
I'm not sure why the Cyber Link BD & 3D advisor says Failed for Software Player - Not Found. It said this a year ago when the 3D worked so not sure why it says this?
Nvidia Drivers:

Hi, I purchased the Media Suite 9 Bundled Version of Cyberlink. I haven't had a chance to use much but hope to
soon!
Anyway, I'm having an issue with CyberLink PowerDVD 10 3D playback. I haven't had any choppy playback when I watch 2D Blu Rays so I think this occasional chop is only exhibited while playing 3D Blu Ray Movie(s). I just bought Kung
Fu Panda 2 and tried 3D playback. It started off great and worked fine for the first 20 minutes of the movie. I haven't tried any other 3D movies.
After 20 minutes or so I would get intermittent chops that seemed to get worse towards the middle of the Blu Ray - didn't go past that. I went and started it from the beginning to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Again, the first 20 minutes play fine and then the chops start. So, I ended up finishing the movie using my Playstation 3 and didn't have any issues.
I tried rebooting my system, etc. Running all the latest audio and video drivers. I'm running a 27" ASUS 3D Monitor.
One of the question I have is when I run 3D Adviser it FAILS for Blu Ray playback for some reason it says Software Player not Found? See Picture Below. Here's the information on my system, etc.
SYSTEM: i2500K
RAM: 8 GIGs
Video Card: EVGA Nvidia GTX 570
OS: Windows 7 64 BIT.
Direct X version 11
Media Suite Build: 9.0.0.2410
PowerDVD full Version: YES - BUNDLED Version 10.0.3306.54 (No Patches Available) Can only upgrade to version 11
for $40 but I don't want to have to do this.
PowerDVD SR Number : MES10112901
PowerDVD TR Number (if shown) TR110915-036
If the issue happens after patch installation - please also add the (NO Patches Applied/Found)
Full version number before patch -- No patches - Paid for full version after using Suite that came with my
Pioneer Blu Ray player.
SR-Numnber before apply patch - N/A
See Attached Dx-Diag and BD Adviser. Also, based off this thread I guess I'm not the only person having issues. Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions? Thx
