it does not work neither for dvd burning...
i dont understand whats mean (for the trial):that AVCHD H264 files are supporting importing,produce Only on pc which offers independent hardware decoding,encoding..
I have bought just 1 week ago a Sony vaio with Nvidia card GT 740 optimus,Intel HD 4000,intel core i7,*GB RAM and I dont think that would not work the hardware in the trial...
I wrote to severals on youtube who are making review,ec and does not know what that means!I shall try the technical support..

Hi,thank you for your answer..but I need a clarifiacation..the problem you had in the trial version,for SVRT or hardware acceleration was only when you burned a disc and wasn't happening for upload..?Should I produce at first and then upload?

Hi,
I have the same problem but with the trial powerdirector 12.My videos are AVCHD 50i 1920/1980 and clicking on the SVRT apply button for rendering it does nothing.
I have bought a Sony Vaio SVF1521s6EB windows 8,RAM 8GB
Intel core i7,Nvidia(R) Geforce(R) GT 740M optimus
Intel graphics HD 4000
So how it does not support hardware decoding?..
I put on the openCL and hardware decoding and allow SVRT and reduce noise .on produce never works,for mpg4,or AVCHD H264 or MPG2..There is a decoding limitation in the trial..?It uploads the video without but my lapstop suffers!and is slow..
I think has the specifications for powerdirector,isn't it?Thank you for un advice

When it plays on timetable there is sound and a green color...no image..
I have windows 7 64 bit.
Finally I have desactivated hadrware decoding and now is working!
Because a similar problem I had with youtube on Mozilla firefox- then somebody advice to desactivate the hardware acceleration..(from the flash playr,right click on the youtube video and choosing flash player..

I don't have powerdvd12..is powerdirector12..than I have,trial version.I didn't succed to have un aswer why is green when playing AVCHD videos..I don't see where to post my question in forum!!It asks always a name to write..thats why I wrote to you.Anyway thank you

Hi,
Any advice for the AVCHD videos,m2ts 1980 full HD..It is supposed to have activate codecs for them..?They are playing with a green color in my trial version of powerdirector12 ultimate.They do working on the Richvideo screen(before insert the video).
I have windows 7 64 bit.
On my lapstop I have download version of Magix movie edit premium and it plays these videos formats,the same with powerdvd10.

in fact I have the same problem as you;;This happens only with AVCHD,M2ts videos.It works with AVI or WMV formats.Did you have un issue.?.
I have the trial version and I cannot have acces to the customer support..
