I'm having the same issue. it seems like its on or off, no in between.
|
|
I have a intel 3210m and according to Intel my processor supports Intel Quick Sync Video.
Any ideas why it has a reverse effect for me?
|
|
Problem solved.
It was Intel quick sync video. I turned it off now everything renders faster and plays on all players.
|
|
I'm rendering to MPEG 2 and find that I can only play it back in PD12. It seems Win 8 does not support this format. I DL'ed VLC and it just played Audio. Then I DL'ed k-lite codec pack, still only audio.
Any guidance on this matter will be appreciated.

Does PD9 work on Win 8.1?
|
|
two more question
After I install PD9 do I just install the latest patch or all patches?
Does it work with win 8.1?
|
|
The new features are cool and i can scrape together $100.
Will PD9 take advantage of my 3rd gen chip?
Will PD12 be faster?..I have some 4gb avi's I need to play around with that I captured from old DV camera.
I'm moving all the DV tapes to a NAS drive but want to edit and compress them first.

it cannot be changed? as the item I want to zoom in on is on the far southeast part of the screen. and If I use that horizontally rectangular frame box, it will bleed off the screen and look unprofessional :/
I'm running into the same problem. It seems that it does not zoom in quick enough (like the zoom timing is not synced with the path timing) and this leads to the bleeding he is talking about.
I found if you keyframe it over a long duration it does not do this. seems like a bug or just a limitation with PD.

I'm a little concern about the pirate issue.
I also read this in Cyberlinks update section "For PowerDirector retail and online purchase versions only."
I might just spent the +$50 for the for-sure deal.

does Cyberlink support OEM versions? updates...ect

Has anybody purchased PD9 from Ebay?
There's allot of sellers selling the software at a very good price.

Thanks.
I checked the sticky regarding the CLCleaner program. My question is after reading the below, do I uninstall or do as instructed below and fool the PC?
1. CLCleaner-PDR7.0-9.zip
This is designed to "fool" your PC and allow an overwrite of PD without needing to uninstall. Suitable for versions PD7/8/9.
Thanks

I'm very happy with the PD9 trial and I'm going to purchase the complete program. I want to get all my ducks lined up so the complete version runs as flawless as the trial.
Is there anything I should do before (uninstall trial, ...) installing the complete version?
Thanks,
SG

Thanks. This answers allot of my questions, but I do have one more.
I was watching a tutorial on particles with PD8 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWuEboZ6YI , the instructor was doing changes on the fly with the preview playing, very cool, unfortunately I'm not able to do this. I have to make changes then preview.... Is this a trial version limitation or something else?
TIA again

I have PD 9 trial loaded on Win 7 pro. I attempt to edit audio with Wave Editor, the window with a status bar comes up and goes to 100%, then the status window closes, but no W.E.

there was 3 options for the audio, I tried all three. the default setting picked up the external mic only, the other options would not record any audio.
it works fine with dazzle supplied software.
My son is capturing COD scenes from his Xbox and wants audio with it to upload to you tube.
Thanks

Hooked my dazzle up to PD9 and the video captures fine but the audio will not record.
any help will be appreciated.
