PD9, Dazzle audio problem

Hooked my dazzle up to PD9 and the video captures fine but the audio will not record.
any help will be appreciated.

What setting did you use for the audio in the Capture module?

You have to use the audio from the Dazzle capture card.

Do you get audio when you use the Dazzle supplied software? Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.

there was 3 options for the audio, I tried all three. the default setting picked up the external mic only, the other options would not record any audio.
it works fine with dazzle supplied software.
My son is capturing COD scenes from his Xbox and wants audio with it to upload to you tube.

Why not capture with the dazzle software then import that video into PowerDirector to edit?

There are not many formats of video and audio that Powerdirector can not use.
