Thanks for the patch, worked great with windows 7 (64 bit) and had it loaded in 5 minutes.

Greatly appreciated
After spending three hours this past weekend installing/re-installing, power director is once again locking up on me. Emailed cyberlink support again. May be time to look at other products.
This is the reply from CyberLink support, blew three hours of my Sunday uninstalling/installing/checking but seems to work fine so far. Apparently it wasn't a problem with the computer, windows 7(64bit), graphics card, etc. I have to say I don't appreciate having to fix something CyberLink gave me.

Dear xxxx,

Thank you for contacting CyberLink Technical Support.

I understand your concern that you install the latest Update 2209 and PowerDirector 12 runs slow.

In regards to your concern, I would suggest you to uninstall the software from the control panel and then try to re-install it from the given below link :

Same issue here also. Takes forever to open a 5 minute project, takes forever to save a small edit, locks up constantly.
Kevin

Thanks, that did it. I would have never figured that one out.
" Power Director has stopped working" is the message windows 7 gives me. The program installed no problem.

I am running Windows7/I7/8gb ram/500gb hd/64bit/blue ray reader

I have uninstalled, software updates and windows troubleshoot, with no luck.

Any help would be much appreciated.
