Hi Dafydd

Are you able to send me the 'fix', have not tried the 2209 patch yet because of the feedback on the forum but have Windows 8.1 and I understand the patch is designed to integrate PD12 better with 8.1?

Thanks

I just purchased PD12 Ultimate tonight and installed it a few minutes ago. After logging in and checking my version, I have V2109 installed. Whew!

Can indeed confirm the 'fix' fixes it!

Only tried the basic stock images & also most recent project, both without the fix took over minute to load then with the fix back to a few seconds.

Hi Ed,
Thank you for the feedback. Super info. I'll look at your fuller computer spec when you send it.

Well done Alan. The next "thing" to watch out for is the Nvidia driver issue that appears to have (re)surfaced: See forum info, http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/30481.page#167403

Hi Dafydd,

Yes, I noticed that and I am on release 326.xx (can't remember the exact version as I am at work!) and I haven't updated it. I am always careful with regards to updating video drivers, having been caught out by an upgrade once that trashed my system

I will stick to the one that I have until something that works is released!

Hi Alan,
Indeed, erring on the side of caution when it comes to GPU drivers, OS updates is a wise move. Updating a software product to correct known issues is sensible, here (2209) it threw up a wobbly.
Dafydd

Hi All,
I'm closing this thread as there is now a new patch, 2230, that's about to been released: http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/30502.page
