Release note:

Enhances MOV video compatibility.
Enables “Audio Pitch” when setting Speed Multiplier over 2.00x in the Power Tools.
Fixes the issue that WMV video is not recorded after resuming recording in the Screen Recorder.
Fixes the crash issue encountered when launching PowerDirector then closing it immediately.

In my opinion: Installing a beta patch is at your own risk, back up your data where necessary. A beta patch is not for the novice/newbie user and should be installed only by those who are experienced in computer use/problem solving.

I did remove the dot when I loaded the info initially (I thought I had), unfortunately I appear not to have done so. I was trying to make sure I didn't get "slapped on the hand" again!

Yes, essentially non live key holders. So valid if you bought the perpetual license via online, store, upgrade, full version.
