Thank you for your support,Michael. There are two tickets, one for activation and the other for upgrading.
Activation-ticket is; CS 001262311
Upgrading-ticket is; CS 001261842

Hope you can fix the problem, for can not use it for a while already.
If you need more info, let us know, please.
We had to reinstall our PowerDVD12 (we bought it on CD with a key,for installation) and now it wont activate anymore, keep getting "the activation amount for this key has exceeded the limitation etc." !! Maybe reinstalled it 4 or 5 times, dont know exactly, but always used this key on one PC( my own!)
Asked support, but they keep saying uninstall first, then download the program again and install. Did this 4 times ,still no result!
uninstalled very well, with special uninstaller and the CL-Cleaner-tool,it just wont reactivate!!

Can somebody help me, please! Or maybe someone faced the same problem? Can not upgrade also,I guess.
We had this problem too,Win7x64 SP1,after a TOTAL UNINSTALL of PDVD11,reboot, and installing PDVD11 again untill the March 2012-patch ( NOT THE 3318-PATCH !!), these problems are over!! There are no problems anymore with this program, it plays everything and smooth!!
So we will suggest to install PDVD11 with the March-patch,for it did help us indeed!!
Yes, think so too,but how long do we have to wait??!
This is a very looong time-problem,and still no solution. But we wait,in the meantime we use PDVD11,for it plays all the youtubes, you want, the video-quality is not so good but it works at least!
Good question! Dont think so, for PDVD11 does play the youtubes without this software!
As a matter of fact PDVD12 did play the youtubes ,long time ago, and also without decoders.
The video-quality was very good,1020p and big screen. So the sooner a solution for this youtube-problem the better, because the video-quality of the youtubes could be much better in PDVD11.
We use PDVD11 for playing our YouTubes, while PDVD12 does not play the YouTubes at all!
When playing the YouTubes in PDVD11,there is an option( right-below-under) for chancing the video-quality of the YouTubes.
It stands at 360p,but we can not change it to 480p or 720p or 1080p,it just keeps the 360p and we do not know how to chance this .

Is there anybody who knows how,for if this is possible, there is no need to upgrade at all!!
Yes,the same here in Holland,PDVD12 with the LATEST PATCH,Win7 x64. Everything works fine, exept the youtubes wont play in PDVD12!!
Dont know why it does work in PDVD11!! So we went back to the good old PDVD11 again!!
Maybe there comes a patch, wich finally solves this annoying bug in PDVD12, this problem is very difficult and is a very long time an irritating bug in PDVD12 !!
Tried everything to make it work( like PDVD11) but did not succeed until now!!

HELP PLEASE!!
We were very hopefull after the latest patch, but again no luck!!
PDVD12 does still not play youtubes after all this time!! We are in the Netherlands,on Win7 x64. We went back to PDVD11, this plays all the youtubes without any problems!! We tried everything, sfc /scannow, clean install,no firewall, going back in time with a disc-copy from Acronis, what more else?? Nothing did the job, until now.
We are all very, very dissappointed in this software, because it just dont work as promised!
Anybody who has an idea to get this PDVD12 playing the youtubes, just like it does in the P DVD11??!
We got this (update-info) after contacting the CL-team,when we made a support-ticket for this YouTube-problem.
I guess they know this for sure,so we have to show some patience. Meanwile we keep using PowerDVD-11,wich gives us no problems at all!!
DO NOT GIVE UP!! We will get an update for PDVD12 next month ( October), for solving this annoying problem! Untill we get this update we use PowerDVD11 Ultra, wich works perfect in Win7 x64,no YouTube-problems, it just plays them all, even after a good cleaning of the system,it just keeps working fine!! We sure do hope PowerDVD12-Ultra will do the same after next-month update!!!
We are not talking about powerdirector, but about PowerDVD12 Ultra. Are we the only one with this problem, just can not imagine! Clean install of Win7 and PowerDVD12,and still not possible to watch my YouTube-movies, we choose in the Online-Media tab of YouTube, is there really no solution for this problem?? Or do we have to download these urls with other software, for playing these YouTube-files in PowerDVD12?? THERE MUST BE A SOLUTION SOMEWHERE!! We want to pay a reward for the wright solution for this problem, anybody who can help us???
Yes we updated from version 12.0.1905.56 to version 12.0.1905c.56. We got this patch from the CyberLink-site,but in the program; there were no updates, when clicking on upgrades. We did a fresh install, without this latest patch, but made no difference! So we are using the latest PowerDVD12 Ultra 12.0.1905c.56.
We already created a ticket, but maybe this forum could bring us the solution we are searching for! When we set the PC back in a earlier time ( two weeks, and everything was ok,just before creating the back-up), the problem still exists!! Looks like an internet-problem,doesnt it?? When downloading a YouTube-url from the YouTube-mainscreen in PowerDVD12,with YouTubeDownloader, we get a flv-file wich we can play in PowerDVD12,so this file-type is no problem. It looks like PowerDVD12 can not download the file you have chosen,or it can not play this file for some reason??!
Does not matter what video,PowerDVD12 DOES NOT PLAY ANY YOUTUBE-VIDEO AT ALL!! Just tried to play a FLV-file with PowerDVD12,but ;does not recognize this file-type! So how can we play FLV-files( these are YouTube related files) in PowerDVD12??
Thank you for your reply,my profile works fine so its another cause. We use Eset Smart Sec. and we gave PDVD12 all permissions (in and out!). Can you tell us how we can get to YouTube via PDVD12?? The YouTube-site gives no problem with access and playing videos (with Adobe FlashPlayer 11), maybe we have to give permission inside Eset, for playing YouTubes with PDVD12? Thanks for your help,if you need more info for solving this problem, please let us know!!
Same annoying problem here,Win7x64 sp1. Everything OK,but NO YOU-TUBES PLAYING IN PDVD12!!! HELP PLEASE!!
