Quote After double checking I'm now pretty sure that Windows projects can't be opened on a Mac. See this post from the forum moderator.

Probably not the answer you were looking for, but at least now you have a better awareness of the situation.

You've been extremely helpful. Thanks again!
Quote That's a difficult question. if you're referring to PD365 on a Windows machine, then you should be able to open your PD17 projects without any signifcant issues. Usually they'll import straight away, but sometimes a few tweaks are needed.

On the other hand, the Mac version doesn't have quite as many features as the Windows version does, and it's possible you might run into problems if you used any of the missing features in your PD17 projects. See FAQ #11 here.

I'm also not 100% certain that you can even import Windows PD projects into the Mac version.

Maybe someone else here can answer that question, but you might aslo want to ask the people at Cyberlink directly. You can reach them here, and I suggest using the Software, Mobile Apps & Cloud Issues button.

Thanks for the reply. Doesn't sound too promising. I may need to find another solution. I've been a fan of PD for many years, but if I can't import past projects into their latest version, seems a big issue.
Hello,

I've moved from a pc to a mac and would like to open all my existing power director 17 projects in 365 before I purchase.

Can this be accomplished?

Thanks in advance!
