Not a wrap-a-round, but there are a number of ways to manipulate text in ProShow Gold V-6
Create a short video in ProShow, publish to a video file, and insert in PowerDirector.
Here's a example... ( kind of like the wrap-a-round. ) http://youtu.be/qfnscpyhgiQ

Thanks! I'll give rthem a try.

Thanks for suggestions. I did re-install Pwr. Dir. I still have the same content as before. No problem, as I'm satisfied with the current set I have on there. I'm learning more little secerets about Pwr. Dir. every day.
I appreciate all the help you all have given me.

I have re-done my latest video to a mp4 and uploaded it to You tube.
I do try the higher quality settings while playing the video on You Tube. Even though I have Comcast hi-speed service, I sometimes get hesitation when playing at 1080, sometimes at 720 it will hesitate. There's option for a faster internet connection, but it's expensive enough, as it is, to have Comcast service.
These videos play great on my computer in VLC Media Player or Windows Media Player.
I just read that clearing my cookies, browsing history , etc. to free up buffer space, will help playing at higher quality settings. Tried it and seems to help play at 1080.
Thanks for suggestions.

I was not aware of any additional "content packs" when I installed my Pwr. Dir.
I installed from a "saved" file that was from when I purchased Pwr. Dsk. I then ran a later patch file.
Would that Content Pack be a seperate download?

Thanks all!
I downloaded both and installed them. Work great.
I'll have to explore more special effects, etc. when things slow down here.
Appreciate all the help.

Thanks, but I don't have that in my Title Room.
You have a lot more listed than I do. Could some of your items be from Downloaded Templates, that I don't have? My install is just like it was from the initial install. I haven't downloaded any extra templates.
If so, maybe you could point me to which ones they are on the Director Zone.

I don't see " Ending Credits 001 and Ending Credits 002 " under [Motion] choices? Would that be dependent on what Character preset I use?
|
|
Thanks!
I use Power Director 11
I see the choices now. It's labeled as "Scroll- Up-Dn-Left-Right" under the [Motion](tab)
Appreciate the quick answer.

Has anyone been able to create scrolling credits at the end of their videos, from with-in Power Director?
If so how?
I was able to do it by creating a short video in ProShow Gold Ver-6 and importing it into my Power Director video.

Thanks for reply.
My GoPro Hero-2 gives me ... 1080T 30 fps Wide ( 1920x1080 ) at 11MP'ls with a *.mp4 output file.
My Nikon CoolPix S-8000 puts out a video..... (1280x720 ) 29fps with a *.mov output file.
I edit with CyberLink Power Director 11.
Some of my You Tube videos seem kind of blury. If I view them on my VLC Media Player, they look much sharper.
The latest video that didn't seem as sharp as I would have liked was put on You Tube as a *.m2ts file.
|
|
Is there a output file type that displays better on You Tube videos?
What Profile Name/ Quality would also display better on You Tube?
|
|
Thanks Tony
It did!
I thought I had been able to center justify in the past. I must have been using 2D text then, and now, I'm using 3D text.
Didn't realize there was a difference in the choices between the two types.
Another thing to have added to updates, or later versions.
|
|
Is there a way to set multiple rows of title text so they are center justified?
When I enter multiple rows of title text it is always aligned to left. I can't see a way to change the text to be centered.
I've even tried to copy the text from word already centered, but it pastes into the title edit window left justified.

Thanks for the answer. I'll give that a try.

I'm using Pwr. Dir. 11 updated to V-3230
A lot of my GoPro Hero 2 videos have a tilted horizon. I know there are ways to level that using Pwr. Dir. "Power Tools"
[Video Crop] or [Video Rotation] but both methods make my videos fuzzy (blury)
I know I can sharpen with "Fix / Enhance" [Color Adjustment] - [Sharpness] but the video still appears fuzzy, blury if I correct for tilting. Sharpen works ok if I don't try to level the video.
Is there a method that allows leveling a tilted video without showing black corners and not bluring the video?

Hi Loren.
Very nice I like those bird houses ! I am going to build a few for my own garden when I get around to it.
Also had a quick look at your riding vids. Think about making the transitions faster in between clips/pictures.
The default 2 second transition timing can be pretty slow at times depending on what effect you are looking to present to the viewer. Also don't be afraid to split/cut out portions of the trail to tighten up your clip.
(Think about adding informative popup text descriptions during your ride to pull the viewers attention to something you find important or interesting. Also how about adding end credits- including your name/alias, trail name and or location where the video was taken, camera used, bike / quad used, song title etc. to give the viewer a bit more info about the trail.)
Shameless plug- here is a link to a tutorial- have a look to see the ins and outs of using transitions:

Btw- just curious, what camera do you have strapped to your noggin? A GoPRO or Contour or something else?

Thanks for suggestions, and link. On some of my slide shows ,and videos, I've credited various artists doing the music. I'm always not sure about the piracy thing. I’ve also considered more info about what bike I’m riding, camera, etc. Still new with this, and a lot to learn.
Transitions are one of the things I’m going to have to pay more attention to. Like any work, you have to become proficient with the tools before you can get creative. Work in progress.
I just discovered this forum, and I’m sure it’s going to help a lot.
I have a GoPro Hero 2 that I got for Christmas. It does have some peculiar characteristics.
Like shutting off unexpectedly. Lens fogging up at times. I’m experimenting with settings, and their effect on shake, vibration, etc. I mount it on top of my helmet. I have tendency to hold my head off to one side. Been a trial and error to get the mount angled just right. I’ve also mounted it to my KLR650 handle bar. More vibration but being fixed, it’s not subject to the tilt problem.
I like the helmet mount because I can turn the camera to the side if there’s something of interest there.
This morning I filmed 3 different sections of road. ( 3 separate files.) First was ok, 2d & 3d were foggy from the humidity. I didn’t know that until I stopped and took the camera off the helmet. ( I have the remote for the GoPro.)
The other thing that happened was, the camera just froze up and I had to remove the battery to get it working again.
Needless to say, I’m not thrilled with the GoPro for reliability of operation.
My bird house efforts are to relieve bordom during winter. I don’t like the cold, but do like New England most of the rest of the year.
PS: I did install newest video driver for my video card. Those options in Power Director still aren't available. I'll just live with it.
Appreciate your help.

You're correct, my system is a 32 bit. My son and I put it together a few years ago. He just gave me the current video card that he had an extra of.
Thank you as well, Borgus1. Appreciate your help.
I'll see if there is a newer driver for it. I'm going to try and get out for some more riding tomorrow, and take some more footage of our back roads here in N.H.
You may see some of my attempts at creating videos here... http://www.youtube.com/user/larry3138/videos
Feel free to cretique if you desire. That's how I learn

I think this is what you are asking for. I did a quick run and came up with this....
BTW: I don't have a 64 bit system.

The last check box isn't available. Blanked out. See attached image...
BTW: How do you get the attached image to display like your last post?

Rob
Sorry for double post. I'm new as to how this forum setup works. Now I realize that I have to click the [DownLoad] button to see the attached pix.
Here's my Produce screen. as you can see, those options are blanked out.
