Have been in contact with Cyberlink support for over a week and they still can't help me..was hoping somebody here could. Yes I am connected to the internet and have activated the program, and I am able to go into my program. When I go to import an MPEG4 as I was able to do previously...it won't recognize them. I also have a project that I used an MPEG 4 in PD9 prior to my upgrade. When I open up the project to burn it..it can't see the MPEG 4 that I imported before..and I am not able to import it again...
Any other suggestions?

I recently upgraded my PD9 to the lastest build 3550 and now it no longer recognizes any MPEG4s. Can anybody let me know what I need to do to get it to work? I have attached my DxDiag file for anyone's reference if that is of any help!!
This program worked fine before I upgraded my OS to Windows 7 and now I have had nothing but problems with it...I just need to get it to run the way it used to...
Thanks to anyone who can help me!!!

Here ya go...

What is a dxdiag.txt and how do I attach it...
Also..I have tried using the burner through other programs and it burns just fine so I know it's not the burner. I have also pulled other video files in PD and attempted to create a DVD and the same thing happens..So I know for sure it's a program problem. What I can't figure out is why it worked before I upgraded to Windows 7 and it doesn't work now. I have not changed anything else with the computer...I am contemplating upgrading to PD10 but that's no guarantee it will solve the problem and I don't have the $50 right now. I have several projects that I need to burn for clients that will pay me..but I need this program to work...GRRRR

Hey All,
I recently upgraded my OS from Vista to Windows 7, then reinstalled my Power Director 9. I had no issues with it when working in Vista but now in Windows 7 it won't let me create a DVD. I edit my project as usual and go into create DVD as usual..I can go all the way to click on BURN and the dialog window showing the burn process comes up and starts counting elapsed time..but..nothing happens. The burning process never starts. I can't even create a folder as it does the same thing. I have dowloaded all the updates and changed compatabilty but I still have the same problem.
Anyone have any ideas?
