Has the ability to "select all" clips on a given track been taken away? This is so frustrating. I have to go through the clips one by one as I hold down the ctrl key and click them to highlight more than one at a time. Sometimes hundreds of very short audio clips. I used to be able to do this properly, but I've done everything under the sun to try and get this to work again short of just ditching the program. Thanks!

It sounds like you don't have the actual PD14 installer but an upgrade patch instead. See this FAQ for retrieving the original installer and then make sure you apply the latest patch once it's installed
Depending on your laptop's GPU, you may not be able to access nVidia hardware encoding due to nVidia changing the NVENC driver interface in 2018. See this post for more info.
Here is a picture of the error message.

Thank you for your reply. I did come across that faq, but it does not solve my problem. The .exe file I have saved is the original one they sent when I purchased the program, so I'm certain it is not a patch. I've used the .exe successfully on another PC in the past. The way this error message makes it sound is that PD14 is incompatible by saying I don't have the required version of the program installed. What does that even mean??? I tried running the installer in compatibility mode of other windows operating systems, to no avail.

Huh? I purchased a new laptop . Grabbed this programs download link which I had saved upon purchase back in 2015. Went to install and the full error message read.....
"You Do Not have the required version of the program installed on your system. The installation will abort. Please contact your application provider.
The installation of this program was unsuccessful. Please report this installation issue by going to http://www.cyberlink.com/cs-help and attaching Cyberlink PowerDirector 14.0zip from your desktop."
I used the help link to report, but unfortunately I haven't heard back, thus posting here. The new laptop came preloaded with the PowerDirector 365 which I have no interest in subscribing to and removed it prior to attempting the install of version 14. I just want the stand alone program to use on my new laptop. Has anyone came across this problem and have a solution to it? I need to get this up and running as it's for work and my old laptop is trashed. This does not seem to be a licensing key issue, as I can't even get the program installed to get to the licensing part. Thank you
