Running the sfc /scannow gave:

For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at
windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline
repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.

Running the dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth gave:
Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool

Image Version: 10.0.19041.804
[==========================100.0%==========================] No component store corruption detected.
The operation completed successfully.

Hopefully the first scan found the issue and sorted it. We'll try again and see how we get on!

Thank you for the help, appreciate it
Thank you. Just running those commands now. I'll keep you updated
Thanks,

Here is the DXDiag file
Hey guys and gals!

I had PD14 and all was good and I managed to grab a copy of PD16 online thorugh an online auction so I upgraded it but now I have a problem.

Half a dozen times now the computer has crashed and in the bottom corner it says Stop Code - kernel mode heap corruption.

It only ever does this when using PD16 - any other software like Photoshop or Lightroom no dramas but PD16 and it crashes.

The box I bought with the software in was genuine software, not a dodgy copy and installed like it should.

I run twin Intel Xeon E5450 6 core @ 3.00GHz, 32GB ram and a 4GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 so not running light on spec.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Quote Yes. Select a clip then right-click and choose Link/Unlink Video and Audion, then click anywhere to deselect the now separate tracks.

Thank you cool
Opened up my PowerDirector 14 this morning and a pop up appeared in the bottom right corner stating to upgrate to the latest features with no time limit etc.

So I clicked it and it took me to a page that said - Download Free Video Editing Software - PowerDirector Essential but the website location was Home > Download Free Software & Apps > PowerDirector 19.

I've clicked download but I don't want it to interfere with my current PowerDirector 14 o haven't run the file yet.

My question is, is this really a free upgrade to Power Director 19 or is it gonna ask me to pay up?

Thanks
Like the title says, is there a way to split the audio and video so that if I'm talking to camera then I can interupt the video with a different clip but keep the audio going and then return to the original video afterwards?

Thanks
Hi everyone,
I know how to get the webcam working and having it in the corner of the screen when recording.

I don't think it's possible but is there a way when recording where you could press a button so the webcam is full screen and then press a button to minamise back into the corner during normal screen recording?

So basically if I wanted to make a tutorial how to do something I could show but if I want to talk to the viewer, then I can go full screen on the webcam record?

Also, with the webcam, is there a way of zooming it in a bit as it has a really wide angle lens and I'd like to focus it more on me and not have a good view around the room ?!!

Thanks
Little update.

After not getting the GoPro to be recognised and after being told the HDMI port on the video card was an output and not input I went ahead and bought one of these:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HDMI-to-USB-Video-Capture-Card-1080P-HD-Recorder-Game-Video-Live-Streaming-0203/293635630778?hash=item445e0c26ba:g:NxwAAOSw80Fe~wll

The item arrived today and I plugged it in. I've got some success as the Screen Recorder 4 software now can find USB video in the webcam settings and I can see myself using the full screen preview. I can also change in the Screen Recorder 4 webcam settings the video quality from VGA up to 4K so using this box is allowing the GoPro and software to talk to one another.

As I said, there is some success as the video and audio are not lining up so if I move then it takes a good second before the on screen preview moves. Due to this the external mic I'm using is picking up the audio in real time but the video is lagged so on playback it looks all weird?

I've looked online and it said to uncheck the auto low light correction button but mine isn't ticked, nor can I click into the box to tick it either?

Any help would be appreciated!
Upgraded my Screen Recorder to V4 as wanted to be able to embed my webcam into my screen recording. I have a GoPro Hero 7 Black and read all I needed was the correct HDMI cable and a HDMI to USB adaptor and away I went. As I have 2 HDMI ports on my Nvidia GTX graphics card I just ordered the cable only and not the USB adaptor.

Plugged it all in and in the GoPro input/output settings changed it to live like it says to do before going back to Screen Recorder 4 but nothing. When I go to the webcam settings and check to set up the webcam is has nothing listed and doesn't recognise it?

Tried everything but it's not playing ball!

Anyone know if the Hero 7 Black is compatible with the Screen Recorder 4 software and if it is, where am I going wrong?!!

TIA

Gareth
