The app is pretty much unusable for me and has been for years because spearate audio tracks is do not sync with other tracks. I've tried on a Galaxy S8, Acer Chromebook R11 and also Galaxy S10. They all exhibit the exact same issue. Playing from different sections in the timelime gets out of sync differently. Anyone else experiencing this.
This happens with every single project.

I also found a another way. If I duplicate the PowerDirector project file. Open it up in text editor to view the XML, I can then replace all instances of the image name used to the new image name. This was before I created the Pip Object. Editing the Pip Objects directly in exlporer did not work because the timing turned out to be different.

I just did this with a baseball and then applied the settings to a football.
- Right click on the object you edited in the PiP Designer and choose "Copy Keyframe Attributes" from the pop-up menu.
- Place the other object in the timeline, then right click on it and choose "Paste Keyframe Attributes"
- Move the second object to the place in the timeline where the first one was.
