I have solved the problem. I searched for uupdates and found a patch dated Nov 17 and all is now well
Hi I recently reinstalled Media Suite 14 on a new PC but PowerDVD 16 crashes when opening DVDs with Eroor 102. I can play MP4 and mpg files but VOB files cause the same error 102
I am told to uninstall and reinstall but cannot find a separate installer for PowerDVD 16 just the exe and 2 rar file to install the whole media suite, how can I get an intsaller for PowerDVD 16
Thanks Albie
As stated all is well on a PC but when using a standalone DVD player the highlighting does not show up especially when using text only
Problem with create disc using
PowerDirector HE3D 114.0.321.10
Serial No ME5160772-01

I’m trying to create DVDs to play on standalone DVD players, no problem creating them to run on PCs but I cannot get highlighting of selections to show on standalone players, I’ve had no success using text only and very limited success using thumbnails and text. I have been using a method from Cyberlink University whereby one sets up the creation and adds the videos afterwards with the intention of returning to the menu after each section. I have had more success using Roxio MyDvd but am not happy with the appearance.
Surely there must be a method by which selected text changes colour to highlight the selection
Thank you! that solves my problem.
I am using PowerDirector 14 , from Cyberlink Media suite 14 and haveing problems with create disc.

I have 6 chapters and require to return to the root after each viewing. The intial selection of a scene opens the correct section but instead of returning to the root the next scene is played.
I have selected the option to play selected title only.

Is this a known problem and I need to upgrade or am I missing something?
