I had the same issue after the latest update of PowerDirector 360.

I tried to remove the effects that have the borixFX but was not prompted to install it.

So what I did was, first uninstalled it. (Windows -> Software add / remove programs -> find BorisFx and remove it.

Then go to the FX in Powerdirector and then click the 3rd Party and it will trigger to install the BorisFx.

Goodluck everybody!
Hi there, I also discovered this bug when you use enhanced features and check the checkbox to preview
it in split screen. This way you can preview how the effect looks against the original video.

But what this does when producing.. (is a bug) it applies the splitscreen param to all videos when producing.

There is a very fast fix for this.
(Make sure your have notpad++ https://notepad-plus-plus.org/ or install it on your computer)

First locate your project video file. Usally in your profile -> documents -> cyberlink
C:\Users\yourprofilename\Documents\CyberLink
Make a copy of your project file and rename it to someting else. (It does not matter what the name is.)

Now open this renamed file.

Then open the video project file with notepad. Your project file has a .pds extension and when you open it
in notepad++ you will see that it is in xml format. (for none of you developers it means readable text)

When you have notepad++ open press control and the letter f on your keyboard. This opens a new dialog.
Then press the tab replace

PARAM NAME="AEFF_VIDEO_BSPLIT_VIEW" VALUETYPE="INT" VALUE="0"/><

And copy the text line above (or in in the attatched text file ) to the field Find what:
(note. I can't post it in this texearea because it get's parsed differently)

And make sure the field with label: replace with is: (must be empty. just type a space and backspace in the field to make sure)

Next click on the replace all button and save the file and you can open this project file with cyberlink and
it will not produce any split screen when producing.
