Hi,

So I am thinking then that there is no way to really look for a keyword within the category, for example, "Power Director 14."

So, if you were looking for a particular subject within that category, you would just scroll and look?
I meant to post this in Community Forum Issues. I am new to this, but I will try.
If I go directly to PowerDirector 14, looking for an answer to my problem that may have already been posted, is there a way to navigate the 76 pages with a "search within a search?"
The reason I referred to the duration to be 3 microseconds (and I guess I should have said "milliseconds!) is because Customer Support gave me this information, and I quote:

"The format of duration is hh:mm:ss:ms."

Well, now I am confused. I guess this is something I need to do some research on. Thank you.
I had several black frames (as confirmed in Story Board View) in between clips and was able to finally detect and delete all but one of them while in Timeline View. I didn't have any options for the black frames in Story Board View. The troublesome one was just 3 microseconds in duration and I never saw it no matter how I stretched out the timeline. So . . .

I changed the duration of the clip to the left of the empty black frame by adding the 3 microseconds to it. The little black frame vanished! After that, I readjusted that clip back to 00:00:04:00 seconds - mostly because I am picky!

Thanks. Sent a PM.
YEAH! GONE! VANISHED!

I took a closer look at the empty black "clip" and found that it was 3 microseconds long. I changed the duration of the clip to the left by ADDING that 3 microseconds to it. Walaw! The troublesome little "clip" vanished! Of course, being that insignificant (3 microseconds in length), I don't see how I would have had a gap in my production. However, the problem was the size of it which made it impossible to find on the Time Line to remove. So . . .

In theory, I guess, with the larger ones, you could play with the duration time of the two surrounding clips (EASIER TO DO IN STORY BOARD VIEW) so that there would not be a gap of time in between them, thus removing the empty black "clip" between them. Following that, you could readjust the duration of the two surrounding clips like what you want (probably the default of 4 seconds each). I will have to try that.
I had several black frames in between clips and was able to finally detect and delete them all in the Time Line View. There is one left that, no matter how much I stretch out those clips, I cannot see. When I try to delete from the Story Board View (so easy to see there!), I don't have that option. I am just trying to learn this program; it is not as easy as I thought it would be. Instructional videos do not cover the issues I have had, and I am having to really work hard to find answers!
Maybe that is why it is recommended that chapters be inserted after all edits are complete and you are ready to burn a disc, etc.
