PD12 - chapter points mess up on assembled edits

Hello.. In PD12 when I add two edited segments together on the timeline, the chapter points become unhinged and offset on the added portions.. Is there a way for the chapter markers to self-compensate for the added footage before them ?

No, not currently in any version of PD through PD14. A long suggested item but they are still tied to a particular timeline timecode not a timeline content.

Maybe that is why it is recommended that chapters be inserted after all edits are complete and you are ready to burn a disc, etc. SO HAPPY when I'm rocking right along with the software. SO FRUSTRATED when I can't find the answers but ON CLOUD 9 when I do!
