The simplest way is to add a .png to the topmost timeline and re-size/fade in&out etc to suit your needs. I've just created an example circle which is attached.

Hey guys, 1st time I have had this problem......
Shot a short video from my sony a6000 of a steam train
uploaded to laptop, works a treat
Sound levels are perfect
Import the video into PD16 to edit and the sound graph is there but cant hear sound
Tried to edit it in audio director and sound works fine
saved modified audio edit to desktop and again works fine
Imported audio into new timeline and again...no sound
what I have noticed is in the edit page where we see the video we r editing, the speaker icon has the line through it to indicate no volume adjustments available, I cannot remove that option either.
Other that that, It all works perfectly outside PD16
Any ideas guys?
1st time I have used my a6000 for video.

Nah mate you opened my eyes. What you said made perfect sense. All good champ really. I can focus on other things and stick with the fade as it really does work fine.

Almost anything other than a fade or wipe can look very cheezy, you never see pros using them.
However there are plugins for PD with some more variety such as Pixelan and Prodad. Go to the Cyberlink store and take a look.

Hi Carl, Thanks for the reply mate. I use (and have used) this particular HDD (for over a year now) to watch movies on the tv, works fine. Does that help?

hey guys, 1st post here need help please.
My edited video works fine on the computer. I dragged it into my external HDD to watch it on the big screen tv and when I open the HDD on the tv, the file cannot be seen. I bring the HDD back to the computer (via USB3) and the file is there and plays on the computer. What did I do wrong?
The file is MP4 with a size of 651MB
