Impressive. That's really good. I had hoped to handle in a single project but came to the same conclusion that it's impossible. I read about using multiple projects to increase the speed to more than 10x but figured you'd lose quality with the double encode.

This is just fantastic! I don't mind the multiple projects at all if it comes out looking this nice.

Thanks very much, Tony.
Thanks Tony. Yeah, no matter how I stack it, i'm requiring at least 4 layers. 2 for titles/graphics, and 2 white overlays. Can't think of a way to stack it so it works properly. If I use the chroma key, then the white overlay becomes transparent to everything.

There's got to be a way, right? I'm drawing a blank at the moment.
Attached are 2 files. 1 showing the cool effect I'm going for, the other showing how far I've gotten.
Hi,

I am trying to replicate an effect on a short video intro we have. I will attach it here and can attach my file so far if you're interested. It involves sliding a logo up from 'behind' a horizontal line and simultaneously sliding a tagline down from 'behind' that same line. I am using a couple of white boxes to hide things but can't figure out how to get them both to appear as if they slide out.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
We've gotten it working within acceptable ranges.

Blur - I tried launching cyberlink > right click > run with high performance nvidia and the blurs went away. Now, however, I am unable to bring them back...Whether I enable/disable hardware encoding, use nvidia reg/high perf...very strange. Must have been something running on the machine at the time.

Thanks very much for the help, Dafydd!
Here is a sample of what it looks like after changes. It's good that we're down to about 3x the size. I tried changing deblock from 0 to 1. Maybe i'll try changing the samples per frame to a higher value.

Any idea why every 5-6 seconds it blurs out everthing and sort of refocuses?
oops. Maybe i'm supposed to use that big giant attachments button...laughing
hmm...well that didn't work...I'm not seeing how to upload the clip.
Hi Dafydd,

Sure thing. The entire video was basically screen sharing of some software he was demoing so most of it didn't change a whole lot, just the things he was clicking. I'm trying to remove about 20 minutes of it.

<video controls="controls" width="300" height="150">
<source src="C:\GoToMeetingExample.mp4" type="video/mp4" />
</video>

Thank you
I have to edit a Gotomeeting recording that is basically screen capture and uses 136Kbps and 5 fps with 1920x1080 resolution. I'd like to produce an mp4 but the lowest it can go is 3000Kbps and 26fps so the files wind up being about 10x larger.

I tried modifying the profile.ini to match the gotomeeting specs as reported by mediainfo but the results were very blurry.

Is there a way to get decent results of very simple screen capture video using smaller bit rate and frame rate?

Thanks in advance.

Greg
