Hi,
While < > are ok for moving through video by holding them down.
Is there a way like Vegas JKL where you press L and the video starts playing, press L again and it plays back faster, press L again and it plays even faster forwards (pressing K pauses the video, pressing J plays video backwards and pressing Jagain speed up the backwards playing)?
I really like playing through my vidoe at a faster speed, pausing at the spot I want to cut (rewind a bit when i go past the spot) and then rinse repeat - quickly cut video.
I have tried to do this in Powerdirector by changing the keys but cannot find a way to play the video at various speeds like pushing L a few times.

Hi,
This is a problem with these memory card avchd cameras - my Canon Vixia does the same.
Either try capturing it with the Pansonic software that came with the camera (or check their website and download it) or else try using TSmuxer and "join" them see the steps in post 2 in this link:

This is the method I use as the Canon software that imports the files also does not join the longer recordings. The above method also seems to keep the audio in sync.
It is a pain to have another step in the process!

Hi,
Import your video into your media content, right click on it and choose detect scenes, let PD find all the scenes (if you not happy with the found scenes then change sensitivity), click OK and all the scenes no appear seperately in your media content ready for you to drag in the scenes you want and leave the ones you don't!

I don't think some NB effects are programmed to work properly in PD or they are missing something!
Just the other day I tried to use the skin enhancer and also no colour picker was available to pick the skin colour!
Help shows a colour picker and using skin enhancer in Magix Video Pro X6 has a colour dropper.
