Thank you. I was veryfying what I thought.
I am wondering if PD will record a demonstration of a website which I can then edit and publish?

Thx,

Tim
After installing the latest upgrade the issue remains.

Whereas, being a newbie into doing video editing, I thought PD was pretty good. But, now with this BASIC feature. I rate the software POOR! This is pathetic and prevents me from generating income. The QUALITY ASSURANCE dept should all be taken out back and shot. UNBELIEVABLE. I want my $$$ back!
I don't see an option to select the disc format. In the Final Output window, it identifies the drive correctly. I can give it a label (I did...a simple one). Then, my Final Output options are: Burn to disc/number of copies (checked, 1). I did not check "Save as disc image" or "Create a folder". I used the default Burn Settings.

Any other ideas or do I need to upgrade to something different? I am not using Ultra.
I forgot to mention that the video plays fine when I Preview it.
PD v 13.0.2408

Setup: I recorded video w/Sony HD camcorder, in HD/30fps, MTS format. Imported in PD and did basic editing, no enhanced features added. I produced the video in H.264, MP4, Quality-1280x720 30p (6mps). The film strip icon on the produced video was yellow. I clicked on Create Disc and used the default Menu. I turned off the canned music. I burned the disc in 2D.

My PC is running Win7/i5Core. Windows Media Player does not recognize the disc I created. I placed the disc in a DVD player and it gives me the error "No Disc".

Where am I going wrong?

Thank You.
Thank You!
After unlinking the video and audio tracks, and removing the video track, Is there a way to save the remaining audio track into it's own file to be used in other projects or Audio Director (5.0)?

Thank you
Tony,

Thank you.

I'm still not sure why I couldn't find them myself. hmmm...It helps that I found the search box...doh!

Tim
Hi,

I'm creating sports videos to teach a specific group of members of a team. I'm wondering if there is a PiP object which is an arrow that I can use to point directly at the teammate and what they are doing.

I've searched DirectorZone and the objects there and have not found what I'm needing. Maybe I'm searching in the wrong area? Is there another location that someone could recommend that I search?

Thx!
Thank you to both of you.

I realize that neither Essentials or Premium are installed. (I thought they did on the 2nd attempt.)

When I run the installer for Essentials, I'm receiving the following message..."Required installation file is missing (7z.exe)".

I downloaded the software on the 26th and that was a completely new install as I have not installed PD previously. What is my recourse to obtain the missing file(s)?

Thanks!
Thank you, PlaySound!
I downloaded PD 13 Ultra this week and notice that I am missing several titles, effects, etc..

I installed all of the components in sequence (took 2 times), but it appears as though the software if working as designed, sans the numerous special effect files.

Suggestions?
I'm editing videos of a sport (rowing) where I want to keep the first several seconds and then slow down the motion for several frames and then resume the video at normal speed.

I am using Ultra and so far, after selecting video speed and making the desired adjustment, the entire video changes and not where I selected for the change to start.

Any suggestions, or is this editing feature not available? Or, is there a specific "trick" I need to learn

If not available, is it available in Ultimate?

Thanks
