Yes I have plenty of space on the SSD. I'm saving the project files to the other drive but it also has plenty of space. I'll try installing the latest patch 2726.

I recently installed PD 12. Version is 12.0.2027.3. It freezes with the Win circle of death when I try to burn a CD. Says updating Menu options and stops at 89%. Cannot shut down program with CAD. Have to turn off computer. Are there patches I should install? Has anyone else had this problem?
It worked initially. I added some buttons to the Menu after that and now it will not work. Is there a way to remove the Menu and start over? I'm stuck after spending a lot of time making a video I don't want to lose.
It worked once with the new Menu after numerous tries, but now it will not work at all.
Any suggestions? I'm just learning how to use this program.

I recently installed PD 12 Version 12.0.2027.3 (Win 7, Intel i7 Haswell) . It freezes when I try to burn a CD. It says updating Menu and then just stops at 89%. The windows circle stays up and it just freezes. I cannot shut down the program with Cntl-Alt-Delete. It says CAD-Logon process unable to display security & logon options. I have to turn off the computer.
I saw a list of patches, but don't know which to download. Should I download them all or is there a specific patch to fix this ?
Any help will be appreciated, I have not used this software before and am trying to learn.

Yes I have a retail version and the CDs. Should I uninstall the software from computer 1 first so the activation code works on the second cmputer?

I got a new computer to use for video editing because the one I installed PD12 on takes forever to render. I need to install PD12 on the new computer. I looked thru FAQ but did not see this question (maby it is too basic) Do I just uninstall the software on one computer using Win7 control panel, then reinstall on the other? Does uninstalling on one then allow installation on the other with the product code as though it were a new installation? I am assuming you can only have the software installed on one computer.
