Last year I did and edit with Power Director 14. Now I want to use the same .MOV files in Power Director 16 and I get an unsupported file error. Yes, they still do import into PD14.

Yes they still do import into PD14.
Thank You Pete

I was in real time....But I checked onto preview and played the time line for about five seconds. Then I reentered the realtime mode clicked unmute (was not muted before) and now have audio again.

I would have never ever thought to look there..so thanks again.
I opened Power Director 13 and I have no audio playback. The audio works on the computer in every other program I open just not PD13.

The audio meters work showing the audio is playing just cannot hear it.

I produced a short clip and it plays well (audio) in another program.

I make a DVD and it's ok too.

Did I mute sound in PD13 some where? I thought I checked every where.

Even in the older edits I cannot hear the audio.
I am not sure what you mean by create a new tag. Can you please give me an example?
Thank You again for your help.
Thank you for your answer. Do you have an easy way to rename 100 or so clips?
I have two SD chips with the clips I want to edit in Power Director 13. The clips are named the same on both SD chips. How do I keep them separate in the Media Room?

Can I make a Folder in the Media Room to import the second SD chip's files OR can I make a Second Media Room?

Seeing two clips side by side with the same name in the Media Room gets confusing.
Thank You so much! I completely forgot about the PIP Designer and grabbing that small blue square. That might just do it. I feel so embarrassed now.
Sorry about the link. It was 16 seconds into the MultiCam Editing tutorial that shows what I what. But instead of a motion PIP I want static ones.

Ok I went into Power Director 13 and used the Modify function. There is a feature to called rotate in there. It only rotates the X axis. I wish to rotate the Y axis.
Please look at this Tutorial:
http://directorzone.cyberlink.com/tutorial/pdr/

At 16 seconds the PIP's are moved in scale, X axis, and Z axis.

I just want static Z axis shifted PIP's at one scale. Of course I would change the X, Y to position it on the screen.

I thank you so far in your trying to help me. Sometimes it is hard to convey a thought in words. I hope the Tutorial helps in understanding on what I would like to do.
Look at all your PIP effects on TV. They have at least one tilted on the Z axis about 30 degrees to put more or larger PIP's on the screen next to it.

Even CyberLink's intro's do the same with the "Cyberlink TV Screen" PIP at an angle with the Z axis moved.

It's just more visually attractive than plain old flat PIP's
Is there a plug-in that works with Powder Director 13 that the Z axis can be controlled on PIP?
I know in PIP I can change the Scale and the location on the screen and the X axis and the Y axis......But how can I change the Z axis? Is there another place in Power Director 13 to change the Z axis?
I really do not want to uninstall a reliable working program so I will use your link and contact support with all the proper information.

Thank You again.
Thank you for your response. I did turn off all antivirus programs and right clicked as Admin. Same thing happens "Setup.exe has stopped responding".
I have PD12 Ultra installed in a Win7 pro computer. I tried to upgrade it to PD13 Ultimate and yes I did get the correct files. I go to install it and all the files unpack. The the license appears. I check agree and the setup stops working.
