Will PowerDirector (ever) support DVB-subtitles burn-in? DVB subtitles are handled nicely by videolan's VLC (free).
PowerDirector seems to avoid this at all costs.
Will it ever support handling these (sometimes complicated) subtitles embeded in a .ts file?

Thanks for your time.

Quote Just a few days before releasing PD17, you should have warned me.
This will certainly make me never upgrade again, this is outright theft.
This is a serious loss of credibility (and imago) for this company.

Cyberlink offers me 50 % discount on an upgrade from PD16 to PD17
Appreciated and i will consider that. Probably not as it will cost me again.

After being nagged to upgrade 15 to16 for many months i finally did so.
Wished i had not given in to that.

Better support for .TS files : during import it should never be split, quite random, into several files.

The option to tap into the subtitles track that might be include in the .ts file and add that to the production.

(VLC can do this, why is PD lacking this feature?)

upgraded tp PD15 just to stay 'current'.
Improve TS and subtitle support
1. Import .ts files sometimes yield strange results.
VLC and Handbrake handle the same file without problems.
2. Would like the ability to import -selectable- subtitle tracks from .ts files and burn into result.
3. And yes, less versions as each updated version has the risk of crashing the installation, loosing PD as the "full" version is not available without purchasing again.
