Uninstall 11 and install 12?
Have you installed eg. dvdfab passkey or anydvd hd on the system? The region changes are in the drive itself and not powerdvd.
If it works with the TV and not the receiver, my best guess would be that the receiver needs a firmware update?
Quote: Hi Peter. I'm looking at Eventghost too. What version are you currently using?

EventGhost 0.4.1.r1568

Took me a while to figure out how to translate information entries to events, but once I figured that out the rest was pretty easy.
Considered that maybe hardware acceleration is not to blame and maybe it's one or more of the periphial services that automatically gets installed with powerdvd 12?
I also went through my registry runkeys and services and removed ALL cyberlink files. The result is that now bluray films play completely stutterless (and I get the annoying popup box stated earlier in the thread). As suggested, it would be really nice with an "advanced" menu, where you could turn all those things off, really off, in case you don't need them, and maybe loose the media server error popup on starting bluray play).
Managed to find it by digging around. Thought I would post it in case someone else finds him or herself in the same situation:

PDVDLaunchPolicy.exe AUTOPLAY D:

I was missing the "AUTOPLAY" parameter.
Quote: Hi,
the database update may take one or two days to show the correct status within your member's account.

Yes - please register the Software.

Click on the "PowerDVD" logo in the left top and then "Register"

To enable autostart:
- disable MoovieLive in the Settings
- change the Player settings
Settings > Player > "Auto-resume setting"

Michael

Thanks, I have registered the product now.

I figured out a better way to ask my autoplay question.

If I start PowerDVD from my HTPC with the commandline options "D:" I still need to press the play button inside the classic view (not the other view). If I choose powerdvd -> tasks -> <my BD drive> the movie will start playing automatically. How can i reproduce that from the command line?

A similar action is right clicking the BD drive in explorer and choosing open with cyberlink powerdvd12. How do I accomplish this using command line ?
Otherwise I can recommend Eventghost, if it can detect your IR reader (I assume you have on in your pc). It managed to convert all the remotes keys to keypresses, which I mapped to the keyboard shortcuts in powerdvd.
If it's set to Cinema mode they autoplay without a hitch, but in classic mode I have to click the play button with my mouse?

PS. The forum still shows me as a trial member, although I purchased Ultra last night? Do I have to click a register button somewhere from within the product?
