I should have noted that the latest driver HP recommends is the one currently installed.

Need your advice. Checked with the NVidia website and they do have a new driver dated today! They caution however to check with the CPU mfg (HP) as they may not support it. The HP websites latest driver is dated 9-25-09. Which should I use?

Yes, I have done that and reinstalled twice, same result, will not start. I am going to do an actual re-install and start over.
Did you see anything in my diagnostics?

Here are my diagnostics.

Now I have a real mess. I downloaded and ran the programs Dafydd suggested. Now PD won't ever start, I get the std Win 7 message "Power Director has stopped working...". It had not even asked me to re-enter the Key. I checked in Task Manager and nothing from Cyberlink is running. What now.

Actually that does not work either. If I have ever been in Create Disc mode, it still will not shut down properly even if I switch back to Edit. It only shuts down properly if I have never gone to Create Disc mode. Anyone else seeing this happen?

Well, mine consistantly fails in a peculiar way. If I open a project in "Edit" mode and close it from there it works fine. But if I ever go into "Create Disc" then it always fails to shut down PDR9.exe. Wierd! Any thoughts?

After a CPU reboot, PD 9 starts OK the first time. After closing it, it will not restart. I found that PDR9.exe is still running.
I saw some previous posts which suggested that Matrox codecs were to blame, but to my knowledge I don't have any.
Maybe I checked in the wrong place. I am running version 2930 with Win7 64 bit. I have already re-installed PD 9 once, but nothing changed. Help, it's a pain to keep having to go to Task manager and manually shut down the process

I want to create Blu-Ray discs from video captured from a Sony HD camera at the highest quality possible. What formats should I use to produce the video (render) from the .m2ts clips and what format should I burn them to the disc.
Thx.
