Hi TDK1044
I thank you for the answer. I did some tests but I did not achieve any results.
Perhaps reading the manual I will be easier to understand.
You could indicate to me in which page the topic is treated.
Thank you, I greet you.
Above the video and photo clips In the timeline, when you select, a thin green line appears.
Does anyone know what it indicates? Thank you and goodbye.
Quote Do you mean that you want the video to rotate 90 degress every hour, on a continuious basis?

Just rotatiing a video is easy to do, select clip mode on the preview, then put your mouse pointer at the top of the blue circle and drag the video around.
Hi Carl,
really easy, but for those who know!
Thanks a lot
I need to rotate a video of 90 ° in the hour. It's possible?
Thanks for your help.
Quote Here are more tutorials on a couple of ways to accomplish your task.

This one.

The duration of the music can not be adjusted.these are bugs
Topic covered on October 15, 2018.https: //forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/77281.page
OK all clear. I thank you and I salute you
I do not remember if it is possible with Pd 17.
Thanks for your help
Here is the answer of CyberlinK, Hopefully solve with a patch, we do not want to wait another year for version 18 !!!

After consulting our technicians we inform you that currently, PowerDirector does not support customizing the playing time of the background music of a menu.

The duration of the background music played has a fixed duration. It is expected that the music will be cut if it exceeds the specified duration.

We have taken your question as a suggestion, thank you and inform you that
we have sent it to our development team for consideration in future
versions of the program.

Sincerely

Your CyberLink technical support
I have verified that the malfunction is present from the 9th edition.

I thought that from 9 to 17 the problem was solved, it had been requested several times.

The moderator did not intervene, I sent a report to the support.

I will keep you informed.
Quote You need use a video clip of the duration you want for the background in the scenes menu. Less than 99 seconds may be used. You can then set the music to the length of that background video clip.

Hi tomasc,
I
finally understood how the adjustment of the duration of the audio of
the menus works: the main menu can have as a background still images or video,
to adjust the duration of the audio in the scenes the background must be a video.

This is not reported on the user guide.

In any case, this is an absurdity that should be eliminated with a pacth.

I ask the moderator who reads us to forward this request to Support.

I thank you and I salute you. Eugenio

Ciao tomasc,
Ti ringrazio e ti saluto. Eugenio
I signal that it is not possible to adjust the tempo of the music in the scenes.
The time remains fixed at 14 seconds. Or am I wrong about some setting?
Quote Hello, i own PD16 but i don't use it anymore despite the incredibly fast rendering engine. I wonder if in PD17 you can finally export in 2K (2560x1440) resolution mp4 ? Thanks !

I add as we have already done so many, remake section menu in the audio part.
Being able to choose the bitrate in create disc not only HQ and Smart fit..
The list of suggestions should always be open.

I'm pessimistic, Cyberlink does not listen.
Menu remake
I thought that with the new editions some defects were solved.
Menus are the worst part of the program.
The requests for accommodations, or complete make-over, often suggested, have never been heard.
I own version 13, I will buy the 17 only if they will redo the menus.
Currently I use DVD Architect.

The maximum duration is 20 sec.
my music is 13 sec and I select automatic repetition
In preview, the music is not repeated. It's normal? or is it another bug?
X PlaySound,

your advice was very helpful,

I thank you and I salute you.
x PlaySound, thanks for the info.

I'm looking for a way to send a small 16x9 video with a few MB and acceptable quality via e-mail in Australia (PAL system).

Some advice is welcome. Thank you
For tomasc,

I am not able to know if the coding was done by the Cpu or the GPU.

I do not know how to operate. But is it important?
With Power Director 13 I did some tests using presets to check the gain with different compressions:
The original file is 1 minute AVC .MTS 1920x1080 50i Bit rate 16Mbs and occupies 117MB.

I saved it in AVI 720x576 became 206 MB

in H264 M2TS 1920x1080 50i 16Mbs became 113 MB
in H264 MP4 1920x1080 25P 16Mbs became 105 MB

in H265 M2TS 1920x1080 50P 19Mbs became 119 MB
in H265 MP4 1920x1080 25P 11Mbs became 63 MB

I wonder if these data are reliable. Frankly I expected a significant reduction of the original megabayt.
Or do I miss something? I thank those who can clarify me.
