That is what I was thinking.
I currently have Power Director 9 and was wondering if it is really necessary to upgrade to 10. I dont have a Blue ray player nor do I have anything 3D. Not sure if the $60 is worth the upgrade.
I am currently using PowerDVD 11 and if I play VOB movie files, I have to highlight all the files in order to play them. On previous versions all I had to do was highlight the folder and play from there. Is there anything I can do to play the movie file from the folder versus all the files?
I see I wrote media instead of Power.
Here is what it says:

Thank you for joining the CyberLink Members' Program. You are now a Silver member with annual purchases of $1-$40 at our CyberStore. You are now eligible to get FREE data burning software, Power2Go 5.5 LE Edition.
For being a Silver member I get Media to go 5.5 for free. That is nice but to me a joke. If it was the latest version I would think it was good.

What does a Gold member get?
And How much do you have to spend to get that?
Well at Major Geeks you can for only $10 more get the full version and still get the bonus software.

Makes me wonder why Cyberlink does not reward its longtime followers alittle more.
A side note, why can I buy this software from someone else for cheaper than Cyberlink sells themselves?
Will I have to install PowerDVD 10 if I purchase the PowerDVD 11 upgraded version? I ask because that is what usually causes problems that I have had. Also the new version comes with TrueTheater which I already purchased previously.

I am hoping that if I upgrade I can just download the new version and just go from there. I have a fresh Win 7 install right now.

Can anyone confirm?
Well I dont even use Blu Ray.
If I already have PowerDVD 10 and True theater is there really a reason to purchase PowerDVD 11? I also already have PowerDirector for those movie converts. To me it seems like I already have them all.

Am I wrong here, or is there really a reason to upgrade to PowerDVD 11?
And despite what a senior contributor might tell you, DO NOT QUIT!!

He has my link to this thread to review!
Well I finally got my issue resolved. I did make contact with someone in the US and he will be working on forwarding this information to help speed up the process for those with key code issues!!!
the same one Zubair!!
Ok, They answered my ticket again finally. They gave me a new PowerDVD 9 download and key. The key actually worked this time. They also gave me PowerDVD 10 download and key, but the 10 is just a trial and dont see anywhere to put the key code to activate. It only gives me buy or register.

Anyone help with this. Thanks
Exactly!! We hav not asked of anything other than to get the product working that we paid for.

If they cant, then refund our money.
Thank you but NO!! Get my product working and I will move.
It is a shame that a senior contributor would say move on, rather than help with the issue. We are not looking to bash, we are simply looking for help with a product that we purchased and now the key codes that we purchased are no longer valid.

No one has answered why they are not valid. All I have heard is they are valid ( but is says incorrect) or just buy the software again.
