Ok I turned the "enable HD video processing", there are no more updates to install, and I have the latest Nvidia drivers. It is still doing the same thing. Anytime I make a change to the video I have to press play and it will go through the video and render. The "Green" render bar above the timeline is where I am talking about. If it has been rendered it is green. The portions that are not rendered are not green.

I was producing a video with Power Director 12. I had used it before and didnt have an issue. That was before I got an SSD and Windows 8.1. Now when putting together a video it is very laggy and takes way too long to render. If I remember correctly it would "rendering" the video as I go but now I have to push the play button and wait for it to go through the whole video and slowly render. Then after that I can produce the video.

Ok Thank you Sir!!

So after installing PD12 can I uninstall PD 9 and 10 or will it not work?
I am upgrading to PowerDirector 12 from 10. The PD 10 was upgraded from 9. So do I need to keep PD 9 and PD 10 installed when I am installing PD12? Or can I uninstall them? PD 10 came with bonus transitions also, so are these the same, different or it does not matter?

Ok, now I see what you are talking about. Thank you very much for your help!!!!

I guess I am not really understanding what you are saying. I have looked for what you say in the bottom left of the UI and am not seeing it. I have also tried to find it in the Manual using F1. I am just not seeing it. Maybe I am just missing something here. Can you please try to explain better or maybe a link showing or something? I appreciate it very much. Thank you Michael for your help.

I have basically used PowerDVD since version 5 and have always been able to play movies from my computer directly without having issues playing the folder in which the DVD is stored in. Which is usually 4 or more files. If I chose the Video folder the files where in, it would automatically play all the files in order non stop without any interruption. But since upgrading to PowerDVD 12 it will not do that anymore. It simply will play each file, within the folder. It plays all the files but one at a time and pauses when it changes the file.
I am not doing anything different with playing these files on my computer, other than upgrading to PowerDVD12.
Well all the other Power DVD version played my movies on my computer hard drive just fine. This version basically does fine, but the problem that it has and is very annoying is that it doesnt play the movie continually. The movies on the computer are in a few files. So when playing using PowerDVD 12 it will play the first file, then there is a break or lag till the next file plays. Instead of playing all the files in the folder as one, it separates them into files. None of my other version did that.
Is there a fix or does someone else have this problem and knows how to fix it?

I am referring to the movie files located on my computer hard drive. They are saved in folders. When you open the folder there actually usually like 4 files. If these files are played in succession, they play the whole movie. With the Power DVD version before 12, I was able to pick the movie folder and play the movie. It would automatically play the whole movie. With version 12 I have to highlight all the movie files and then play. But by doing this when it gets to end of each file it pauses and then will start the following movie file. It does this instead of playing without any interruption at all.

well with version 10 and 11 you could click on the folder to play the movie but can not. Have to open the folder

Well since I upgraded to Version 12, I can no longer play movies that are on my hard drive. I mean I can play them, but they are in like 4 files and I have to highlight all four and them play it. When doing that, when it get to the end of one file it pauses and then picks up. I cannot play a continues video. I was able to do with with Version 11 but now I cant. Makes me kinda sad with new version. Can anyone assist with this?

So nobody has an answer? My screen is not 3D, I am strickly talking about using PowerDVD to make it 3D, but which glasses work with it?
If PowerDVD converts it to a 3D format, then which glasses work. I dont have a 3D monitor of TV, but with PowerDVD it can change it to 3D.
wow, nobody knows this answer.
Well since the program can make movies into 3D, exactly what kind of glasses do I buy that would work with it?
As stated, I already own PD 9 Ultra, is it worth it to upgrade to PD 10? I am currently not doing much with 3d.
Well if it has issues from PD9, then it is sad that these companies put out stuff without fixing it.
That is what I was thinking.
