Thank you Carl, I will upgrade the RAM on my PC. You mention hard drive Is it really important to have files on the primary HD?
Wondering if anyone can comment on whether or not my PC is adequate to run PD9. If you would care to advise please see attached files. It seems to be very temperamental, cannot string more that about 3 minutes of video together before it either hangs or displays the attached error message. If you click a bit too soon after last command it crashes. Initially, support responded but now seems to have lost interest.
Reaction did seem a bit harsh. Very sorry to have broken etiquette. Will start a new thread...
Thanks for the response, will persevere but really do find this frustrating. When you buy something you do expect it to work. Tracy from tech support is assisting me so will see how that turns out. Will attach Dxdiag file , is my computer adequate to run PD properly?
Am getting the same message using PD 9, is there an update for this version? Tech support has not mentioned a patch or sound files as a possible cause...
I have had PD 9 for about a year and until recently had used it very little. I am now trying to make a more complex video consisting of about 15 different clips with transisions. Several tech support messages later still not working (hang or error message when producing video regardless of output format). Just wondering after searching the web and seeing many hundreds of negative comments and very few positive if anyone has this running on their computer successfully. Can anyone recommend an alternative program that is relatively trouble free?
